Blessing Wands

I was blessing a weapon for a friend, when he mentioned something about his wand, which gave me the idea, blessing wands! Instead of blessing to attacktypes, you would bless your wand to whatever the god was attuned to, so if you got a wand of Brigid it would give you attuned: Summoning, Protection. It wouldn't be able to get +'s, and it give a point to collecting wands of different gods (unlike weapons, where those barbarians only worry about what does the most damage

).

Because of the type of item wands are... it won't work... they've tried giving bonuses to wands... no bingo.

you dont need to because gods automatically channel there powers through your magic when you pray to them that would just alow(sp?) power gamers more power

I don't see why they can't change it. There were wands with stats in the original game.

What is "the original game"? I already heard that the mudlib is openly available, but where?

Err .. no .. I'm talking about the game that this Mudlib came from. I never mentioned the name before, because I figured they'd crucify me, but who cares .. if anyone really wants to know all you really need to do is a search for "Ruggilli" or "Berwean" or something. I'm talking about the original game, Crossfire. Really old-school. I never played it, but I've seen screens, and I know a lot about it from research. I even have links to entire recipe lists (so don't bother reading recipes, almost all of them aren't able to be made right now). Yeah, this post is probably going to get deleted .. :o
