I had a moment of absolution

While reading a thread Koni posted in the playerworlds forum, I came to the conclusion that 2K1 is finished. It has nothing to do with management, staff, scripts or levels. It's because we lost our appeal. Nobody wants the stuff that 2K1 is offering anymore. People don't want PK-RPing anymore. They want to either RP completely and totally or just fight in lawless guild wars. People don't want an simple economy, they want either 2K2 or Unholy Nation. There are bomies, but nobody wanted or will want to play as them. It doesn't matter if Kamuii, Zurkiba, Tseng or even Kaimetsu is managing 2K1. 2K1 can't come back in any form in which it would still be 2K1 and be successful in today's Graal.

So yeah, I'm giving up on 2K1. Anybody left who still believes in it?

I think that 2k1 will succeed if someone actually takes up the reins.

Waltz5 is an unknown quantity at this point
I sorta agree... I think for 2k1 to survive in today's Graal it would need to be revamped quite a bit. But then by revamping it you'd lose some of the nostalgic factor.

However, there are fewer and fewer people who remember the good ole days of 2k1 so in the end it could work.

Kaimetsu will become famous soon enough
I've always said that it's a lost cause. It lacked structure from the very beginning, and that's not something you can just inject in there without completely changing the flavor of the world.

In my opinion, everybody should just move on to bigger and better things.

Ify Ify for me, I believe that if they were to just release the old playerworld and let the economy boost up, it would run as it use too. There are still many people who love the servers with both rp and crazy pking. But I believe many people would play G2k1, if they just released it and possibly added some new quests and new features for bomys, making humans and bomys equal.

Well I know I would..

I just say give up on it. Who cares anymore? Not like Lance is going to give up holding onto something he can't handle anyway. :/

Nothing was being done in the first place? Well nothing I could personally see, Even with such a great playerworld, it should have been worked on greatly and developed, by adding new things in the past.. It was like a, great sitting duck.

I think it all went down hill when Stefan left it. He should just drop zone and kingdoms and bring back 2k1, then people will play.

It is entirely possible to move on to things that don't exist yet.

If you're willing to help make them exist, yeah. Not everyone is.

Regardless, that is the path which will lead to greatest benefit for Graal and its players.

I'd really play it again, I have always loved Graal2001 because it changed Graal in some way. I'm not sure what is the problem, neither if it will be back some day, but I really like that playerworld.

i want to play a game with a stable economy, i was a bomy, i got a new account which i selected human, if i can restart my account i will be a bomy and then have everyone in the entire game try and kill me, how fun -.- either way all of graal is crumbling, every day less and less players sighn on, there need to be a huge reform, me and others have been saying that for a while but i think the best update for now is to try too stableize the economy in all the servers hat have one, if i knew how i would try, but since i can't i am going to have to rely on staff.
