Exclamation Poorly labeled threads

I've noticed that the last time threads have titles like: "why"; "question" etc.
Please use a proper title for your threads, so we have a hint what's your topic.

Wasn't there an example in the rules?

Also, try to give your threads explicit titles (For example, 'RAM problems' is better than 'Help!'), and avoid irritating short titles like '.' or '!'. Poorly-labeled threads may be renamed by the moderators
If you are having problems with Graal not working instead of putting Graal will not work you can name your thread,"Graal running slow"

The title should be named for what it is in regards to, such as "Need help with graphics problem" instead of "question", or "help"

in forums that people are requesting help in, it's better that they properly name their thread titles this way if in the future someone has the same problem, it's more likely to come up from a search. I can see this rule being enforced in sections such as the scripting forum and other "help me!" related forums, but other than that it shouldn't matter.

If there is a common issue that needs posting about more than once, there are issues that need to be fixed outside of the forums in order to prevent that issue from happening.

No, the person should learn how to use the 'Search' function more effectively. Most of the hits come from the posts within the thread anyway.

yes but it's easier to look at thread titles when trying to find a solution to a problem other than a bunch of different posts when using the search feature.

there are still a lot of problems that may be caused by human error that people will be making numerous topics about. not just problems with the game (using an example here if people were making a bunch of topics about a problem with graal)

I have moderated forums, I used to visit a lot of forums and I sometimes still do. I have never ever seen people care so much about trivial things such as thread titles, and to give an infraction over one? Yeah okay. People are splitting hairs over anything these days; it's getting pretty tiresome, and it has nothing to do with being a moderator.

Such as?
Maybe people should follow the rules? Rules aren't created to be broken, especially if there pretty simple. Almost every forum promotes 'Reading the forum rules before you post'. An infraction usually doesn't mean you get banned, or your account is limited. Warning? There's no big deal about an infraction unless in my opinion.

e) If you wish to create a thread, please ensure that you select the correct forum for the message. If you do not, the thread may be moved or - in extreme cases - deleted. Also, try to give your threads explicit titles (For example, 'RAM problems' is better than 'Help!'), and avoid irritating short titles like '.' or '!'. Poorly-labeled threads may be renamed by the moderators.

That did not answer nor justify anything I asked.

I didn't plan justifying anything you asked. Just a reply to your comment.
