Alchemy

The stats on alchemy items are in relation to craftable items very unbalanced.
For example:
Gauntlets of the Titans have only armour +13

To make them you need 20 (!) iron (takes ca. 1 hour to mine) and a pot of strength (don't need to tell what time and stuff it takes to get a Gold Key).

The bronze chainmail - ( armourclass +3, armour +18) can be crafted with two iron plates.

It would be nice to make it more attractive to do alchemy recipes.

Another thing I've noticed is the lack of recipes in the shops. Here and there you can buy a lab note or a reciepe book of water of the wise, water of diamonds or similar, but barely some recipes to alch items.

Alchemy as a whole has great issues, with imbalance, variety, method of leveling and probably more. It would be great if the alchemy system could be revised and hopefully made an expensive yet fundamental part of Kingdoms.

Alchemy, as a whole, needs a total revamp. As a matter of fact, just about every item on the server could use some improvements. It must suck a whole lot to not have items from the days of old that are worth anything to get you geared up enough to participate in events. Hell even the craftable items need a revamp at this point, it's probably the only way to fix a totally crap economy.

Agreed. I am sure it would make it much more attractive for new players, since they could get some efficient armor and don't need to buy overpriced stuff from other players.

Seeing that it uses a str potion, perhaps add str+1 onto the gloves? It's easy to get the materials and would be fantastic for any player just getting started on GK.

Gloves of bladed steel: 10 iron blades, 20 cloth, saber tooth tiger hand, mineral oil.

As gloves that would be fitted with blades like that perhaps a damage+1 added to them as well? I have one of each pair and Alan Steele tells me there's a very high chance to get slag when trying to make them.
