Level

It has been far too long since I touched pics1 classic tileset properly, probably about 3-4 years, at the least. But I've decided to have a go, just for fun. This is what I've came up with (so far).

Was gonna finish it but hell, it's 1:37 AM and I'm tired, I'll pick it up in the morning but in the mean time I'll throw it up here.. So.. I think my path skills are still intact, but grass.. I don't know what I'm trying to do with that. Buildings, I hate anyway, if I had my way it would be all paths, grass, water and dirt, I just love making the ground but hate ruining it by slapping and ugly building on top

Anyway critique please.

I like it. I don't know anything about that tileset, but if that were a pics1 level, it would look nice to have some grass and flowers scattered around. However, I think that the clump of grass/dirt/water at the bottom needs something to go on top of it. Trees or anothre building would do the trick!

Have you been touching it in a naughty place?

You've got some nice detailing going on so far, I hate the grass tile though (not really your fault though). Definitely try and break up the pattern of the grass tile as much as possible.
