Woodcutting System Buff

You know how wood cutting's pay is inferior to all the rest of the moneymaking ways, but requires more skill? Here's a way that could balance this whole thing out and make woodcutting a decent way to make cash.

Create a rating system that decides how many logs the player gets. This would be a reasonable buff to woodcutting that would help sort out the skilled woodcutters to make more cash from the unskilled ones.
eg 60% of the tree perfect (3 perfects), they get two logs, and 80% perfect of the tree is 3 logs, 100% perfect = perfect log + log (this part is already implemented). I'm pretty sure this can be implemented.

Logs are only worth 6$ a pop in the first place, so cutting a 100 trees only makes about 600$, which takes about 30 minutes to get. This would help speed things up for the skilled people who hit perfects often, and reward them fairly for the good work they do. 3 logs a tree for getting 80% perfect = 18$
This system could reward people for attempting to try to get perfect logs, instead of discouraging them and giving up and buying them street for ludicrous prices (I sell them 250$ each because they're extremely rare).

you don't cut down a tree and get one log in real life, unless you do a really crappy job sawing the tree and screw up like 2/3's of it, which makes perfect sense. so the people who cut down trees well get more logs (higher pay) and the people who do crappy jobs of cutting down trees get less logs (lower pay).

Just because you do/own something doesn't mean it will be buffed or changed.
Seriously, stop posting trying to make everything better for you. You aren't Jesus incarnate.

If it's inferior to other money making ways.. use those ways? That's common sense.
Woodcutting is buggy as-is, this idea will never be implemented.

Any post past this is just spam.

Hush mode, not everyone enjoys sitting in the mines drilling away 9000 rocks as we do.

An attempt to balance some of the money earning systems would be nice, but I have to agree with Willa that other things are probably on the high staff's minds at the moment.

Don't hush me, I'm right.
And yeah, last I checked they were too busy banning the souls to do anything.

Hotkeying wasn't even needed, you were the only one that complained about it.
Not to mention, you used to be able too make like 1.5k in 30 minutes with a chainsaw.

How was I supposed to obtain a chainsaw when I couldn't access the chainsaw stocker room without 10 perfect logs, when perfect logs weren't obtainable.

If hotkeying wasn't needed, then why do mining and shoveling have hotkeys.

You'd still need a motor, which comes from a car, and cars go from 5-8k, so why spend that extra effort in getting all those supplies, including the perfect logs, when you can get a chainsaw for 5-7k

without that door being open, chainsaws would have become a limited commodity, so i sympathize with what he says.

cars? infinite. woodcutting materials? infinite. but if they hadn't re-enabled perfect logs, there would be less and less chainsaws each day, because no new ones were being made and people (like me, i own 3) would hoard them
