My first priority was to rearrange the overworld and fix cliffing. Fixing cliffing is actually way more time-consuming then you'd imagine. Once you fix one tile it effects the ENTIRE cliff range, so you have to go through and replace all the cliffs. I practically redid all the cliffs on the entire world(I used pre-GTA levels, they were in pretty bad shape). Rest of the time was spent making the overworld playable, creating and laying out paths I wanted players to take in any given order and making absolutely sure they couldn't slip out and get to areas I didn't want them to without the right stuff.

Fixing up the actual levels and such would have been done later, most of what you see in the overworld is the original content.

That wasn't me who made that boat, and I doubt Rufus would have let me use it, lol.

The only thing that I did to Babord was fix the cliffing and work it into the old overworld layout. The cliffing in Babord was BRUTAL, the levels were of even less quality then the old pre-GTA levels. They had to be redone from scratch. Apart from the cliffing only the manor got an upgrade, and that's because I had planned that to be a dungeon.

As the self proclaimed last bastion of Classic I would jump ship to play your server right away if it were finished.

P.S. Can I help work on it please?!

Probably not. Classic is kind of "claimed" as a server. When I started this Classic had only just gone UC and I contacted Stefan to get his permission to try my own version. I'm not sure what would have happened between my Classic and the official one if I had kept going on.

Can use the stuff to make your own server, but I don't advise trying to revive this project in its entirety.

I'll be playing around with some of the resources you've provided in this thread. If anything worthwhile comes out of it, you'll be the first to know.

It's useless without you. It is like every orifice on your body leaks polish and hype, you should probably finish something some time!

I actually miss working on this project. I miss the ideas, I miss working on the overworld. Admittedly I don't miss all the system management with the scripts, that was a headache. But bottom-line is I do miss this. However I'm done with Graal, at least development-wise. I pitch a hand in here and there when I'm not too busy, but now that I'm learning Java(and now I've got myself set up to work with the android SDK) I don't really need Graal as a creative outlet. When I want to make something now I can do so on my own in Java, without all the bull**** or limitations associated with Graal. It's much more freeing, even if it takes more effort.

I got really excited when I saw on the main page you had responded to this bumped, Dusty.

Maybe you could (should) seek broader horizons (yeah) and help make or create (please) an MMO elsewhere, if you're really done with Graal

I mean, I like Thor's Classic alright, but this...

I haven't been doing much Java work either lol. Odd that people subscribe to me because the only time I upload anything is for sharing purposes. I have one video of interest related to Graal but I don't think I could show it!
