The older stuff looks better, and doesn't give drows the 'goth kid' appeal. Most of the time, drows wear cool colors, not all black.

This is why I suggest the blueish colors rather than just plain black, because, frankly, black gets rather dull after so long.

half of those pics din' even show up for me :'( but there were mostly black/a drak grey blue...which is pretty much blackish...

I think it would be better, the blue ones. The gray is too 'overused' on GK.

o and Etien asked for me to use Draenin's GFx as examples on how he wanted this shield to be recolored. So lemme no what you think...now to work on that hood

Looks preety good. But if you want a really good recolor I would go with orange and black for Halloween.
