So basicly what you're saying is that if you walk into a 4th grade (3-4th year) class room for the first time, and you dont understand all these numbers with an X and a = thrown in there in places, you should reconsider your decision to get an education? No. When you learn to multiply for the first time, the teacher doesn't say "Ok, so you do this and this then you get the product"... What the hell does he mean by product, we never learned that last year!
Just because someone isn't as good at math at your, or has some trouble understanding something doesn't mean they should be denied the right to know how to script... That's like not having special aid classes in schools!
(And Im not sure on the grade you start mulitplication in @_@ 3-4 was only an example...)
