Staff can access the iservers via the graal client - granted they have the access.. in which the dev team would.

Also, 20 players vs 500+ players? I mean Classic is an amazing server, Thor and team have done well with it. When we do the PC version, I really would like to make it simple, but in depth like that.. it's what I miss about graal. I realise there is going to be restrictions on a iPhone version, but we have worked the iPhone version to it's advantages, as we would the PC version.

More along the lines of not being able to be bothered to search for it.

This is interesting, when I first suggested a poll thread I actually thought Ducati had done her research and that more of the N-Pulse existing community would be wanting iPhone. Not that iPhone would have more votes but that the gap would be much less severe. Like a 9 to 10 vote. not a landslide 3 to 16.. even with ducati's 7 (not all favoring iPhone) 10 to 16.. and im not even counting my 2 that dont have forum access..

but please do post another thead on the iphone forum under the n-pulse section? it does exist right? iPeople know what n-pulse is? right? otherwise N-Pulse as a server to them, would be no different then a from-scratch server..

Actually it can be quite difficult to locate posts that are year's old. They get removed from the forum's with the exception of being able to locate them in searches. Like N-Pulse's forums, you see 2 threads. But you can veiw older ones.

On several occassions both Tig and Stefan have said they want to do similar to how iPhone works and offer a cash shop. Some servers already have it, but since theres not many I don't think they can exactly move on. Once I locate the sources I would gladly show you guys. But we all know how Stafan and Unixmad are. Even if they gave a release date it would be much longer wait then they say =/ but thats not just them thats about every major company.

What I am saying is for the iPhone Classic and iPhone Era to be hitting the number of player they are, you know the 500+ you keep drooling over they have 2 platforms. Facebook, and iPhone. And on the iPhone they have 2 app's. The Free, and the Paid. You have already admitted in private chat that as you were iClassic staff that both the classic app's log into the same world. I have verrified that so does Facebook. Literally pickedu p where the iPhone left off after I verrified my account by e-mail (no need for vip).. Where as you are comparing N-Pulse with no quests and more event based with a playercoutn of 20 ish to a fully developed server with quests on the iphone.. let's remove FB and see how many players drop? I know you were staff on iClassic but since then the player count dwindled to the point of needing FB to help keep them kinda-sorta close to the 2000 ish they had during launch.. Give it some time, you guys are gonna burn iPhone servers out and graal wont have anythign with quality content left because everythign was iserver developed =/

I dont have the time right now to argue all points - but I disagree. The count isn't that far out, as I haven't wrote up the lot.. if you want me to continue to waste time on it, I could.. but I would rather not.

iClassic didn't need FB to boot them, not even in the slightest.. it was in the making well before.

We are never going to agree Scriptless, I have my views, as do others, as do you.

Also,

So not only are people here confirming Stefan did say F2P but others from over a year ago, you know before I needed to use it in my argument...

This isn't like PC Graal where new players are scarce and servers compete for the same ~500 active players. iPhone servers have the ability to attract players without stealing them from the other iPhone servers.
I agree with this.
Classic iPhone first started with a mixture of PC players with an iOS device/people who played various eurocenter games or found it, with less than 100 players online usually. Then over time Classic iPhone attracted an enormous community growing to have more than 1500 online at peak times. After that Era iPhone came with 200-400 online on average, then grew to now average over 1000 online.

Now to see the potential of iPhone

Comparatively, order and chaos online, a popular p2p iPhone mmo averages 3000-4000 online on iPhone. Other games on Iphone have just as many. Since Graal is f2p, it has even more potential.

Ok we really need to clear some things up:

1) iClassic doesn't have quests* nor is it even remotely closed to being fully developed.
2) FB made no difference in iClassic's playercount, it drew in a maximum of ~40-50 PC players who wanted to play iClassic but not through their iPhones.
3) iClassic's playercount isn't dwindling nor did FB help it increase in playercount. The FB change was made because no one wanted to play the FB server, they were only using FB to log onto iClassic because they preferred keyboard over touchscreen. Now players are free to use the same character/account through FB or through iPhone, which was a smart move to make. Should N-Pulse go for an iOS release N-Pulse players will still be able to comfortably** play on their PC's, and play with fellow iOS players on the same server.

*it does have some crappy short effortless quest(s?) but trust me, they don't count.
**if you can stand the flash version of Graal, which is almost the same as normal but slightly more laggy and restricted in view (there's a workaround to get more screen size but I haven't tried it yet)

As we speak right now, while our normal playercounts are about half of what they should be (Era 60, Zod 53...usually it's about 80% more) iClassic has almost 1.2k players online and iEra has 1k.

I was about to say..
Yesterday as a matter of fact I found the Pyrat quest and finished it in 5 minutes, possibly the lamest quest I've seen on Graal. It's really disappointing
