I didn't even bother mentioning Kai. That was out of the question.

I was showing you Googi's battle-abilities, as displayed in a spar against Kai, in order to show you that you're not on Googi's level.

And you shouldn't laugh; I really think you couldn't handle Ravenblade.

But I suppose I wouldn't mind seeing you try.

Kaimetsu is my hero. I went against him a few years ago, and lost. Life changing experience losing to Kai. Positive one too if you learn why.

This community is no platform for the depth and knowledge of any serious conversation, even if Kaimetsu was whimsical enough to indulge in it.

You don't have to be special to take advantage of youth, even if Kaimetsu did have talent.

You're getting off topic.
I think we forgot what this thread is really about: emoticons.

Post them.

If I'm so great, how come I can't come up with a way to revive the server?

I can't answer that because I don't think it's true. Or maybe you just lack confidence in your own ideas or just don't think the server can be revived at all- I really don't know.
I think you and plenty of other people can figure out ways to revive GK (remember, even when GK was "alive", it wasn't perfect- it's always had problems. But now it's just ridiculous).
The only problem is that it's not your (you and everyone else who I believe could do it) role to implement such ideas.
Plenty of people have ideas on how things can be fixed, and while they may disagree with one another, even the opposing ideas could each be a "solution". (For example, Bosh's proposed solutions may differ, and even oppose Ed's ideas, but they both drew out some pretty good plans which could quite possibly gain activity again)
After such ideas being implemented, the game may still be full of flaws, but when there's plenty of people playing again, at least it's "revived".

At least that's my vision of a possible, not too ambitious future.

Anyways, what I'm saying is, I don't think it's too hard to get the game at least steadily active again. I just think it's not being done.

It mostly has to do with my experiences trying to revive 2K1. We tried new updates, new ways of making money, re-releasing old items that had fallen out of circulation, resetting and moving the server to classic, etc. and none of it worked. Graal Classic (Adventure) tried some similar strategies and they didn't work either.

I think massive rebalances and exp/money reset could do it, but everyone has a different idea of how to fix it, and even more: there is noone to fix it atm, as björn is inactive and tig has no rights to do most things, which just results out of björns paranoia fearing a coup d' etat.

But I think that all people agree with me that something has to be done finally, if not by björn, then by stefan, tig or someone else.

Because the solution you want to make, so far as you're concerned, has to be flawless.

I want to get the job done, even there's some other problems. These smaller problems can be addressed later if they're not a big deal - and if they are a big deal I'm a ***** for missing them in the first place and then another solution would be needed.

I want to make it clear right here and now that I offered to do some *excellent* stuff for Easter (Sunday) last week when I found out Bjorn hadn't started anything yet. Stefan said he would let Bjorn handle it, he "knows events better".

We'll see how well he knows his events come Sunday.

Afaik they added an automation for season events, yet ittl be the same stuff like last year likely.

Lather, rinse and repeat; typical GermanKr3w ethics.

Why? I've never seen an unpopular server brought back by rebalancing and reseting (there are cases of popular servers remaining popular after resets, but not of servers being revived).

What is "flawless" supposed to mean? Either a solution works or it does not work. I want to make one that works.

This is precisely the perspective which is preventing you from producing anything.

Wouldn't you rather have a solution which makes the game enjoyable - even if it has some caveats, than no solution and a game which is not fun? If time was on your side, I would probably agree - but players aren't going to dawdle and drool for much longer.

I would rather have a successful solution even if it makes the game less fun for me than an unsuccessful solution that makes the game more fun for me. In fact, I would say that players focusing whether or not they would personally like any given suggestion rather than how it would attract players is acting as a barrier to finding a successful solution.
