I am calling you a lier, because you are acting like you know what is going on with EoA, and acting as if you know how EoA was formed. I doubt anyone would know more about this than it's founder (me).
zell (or excalibur, whichever name you go by o.o) I am only posting to straighten out his posts... how am I supposed to correct what he says in private? I am not intent on changing his mind or anything, I am only trying to portray the truth, and dismiss the things he says, since they are not true.
1. EoA was started by me (and me only) September of 2002... it was my server idea... I told the idea to Juli way back then, she may remember. I had not even thought of a name yet... later that month I talked to zerXus (former LAT Chief) of n-pulse, and he agreed to be my co-manager... a month went by, and me and zerXus had been thinking up ideas for the server.
2.Around the begining of November, I suggested useing the theme I had thought up on my server, for n-pulse... we then created a team, to fine tune these ideas, for use on n-pulse. (note: SkyKnight was NOT a part of this team) Once the team had some solid things to propose, we talked to MG about it. MG, seeing a large group of his staff getting together to organize something got parinoid, and thought we were trying to take n-pulse over or something, and he shot down all of our ideas... it's funny, because the excuses he used were "we will not go back to old n-pulse, n-pulse needs to move forward, not backwards" and "We do not want to change n-pulse that much" which really contradicted eachother... somehow he was saying that we were going back to old n-pulse, yet moving too far ahead o.o

So then after having all our ideas shot down, I got a little ticked (as did most of the others), so I massed something along the lines of "We should just go make our own server..." then I massed "How does End of Ages sound for a name". Then X (Jill) replied, and said she'd be interested, and most of the others were as well. We then asked SkyKnight if he wanted to help, and he agreed... and set us up a forum.
6. There was supposed to be equal control between 6 people, and we would discuss things, and all that... but soon I found some people not pulling their share of the work load, and it mostly just caused ideas, but no real product.
5. Over December, till mid January, a lot of ideas were talked about, but NO work was done... In mid-January, I got ticked off, because hardly no work was being done (Ducati was doing the most), so I desided to push for more control, to be able to manage the staff better, so we could get some work done... this caused a lot of fights, and most of the origional 6 quit... till eventually I was the only one left. At that time I hired my own staff, and we got started on the actual development of the server (tileset/levels/a few scripts)
6. Since then we have been developing... *skips ahead, because there is no dispute here*
7. Resently I have offered to merge with n-pulse. This was due to our scripter shortage... Also, most of my staff is still from n-pulse, and we still see it as our home server, and we wish to help... and I was all set to agree, till Angel came on, and offered help...
so yea, hope that clears some things up o.o
