1) It was the Judgite head first
2) It's a cool head
3) It's only the RC head by arbitrary decision - it could just as easily be head0 or the squall head or something more popular like the Vincent head.

Bottom line, the players don't like being told what they can't do, even if you ARE the manager of G2K1. So you gotta pick your battles.

True, but it's still discourteous to use it. It leads to confusion etc - if I were to choose between personal style and the welfare of others then I'd go for courtesy every time. I don't see why other people can't.

Yes, and that's why we're talking about changing it. That doesn't change the situation now.

The players can dang well grow up. Every change faces flak from people who haven't thought things through, as I'm sure you more than most people are aware.

Yes, I am aware of it. I implimented the Hera system and removed some fullhearts and there was a full fledged riot.

I did not, however, force people to stop using head30 because it's my head. Nor did I force people to stop using the ninji katana because it looks too much like the new default L2 sword, nor have I even disabled use of the new default L2 sword graphics for those who want to use them.

RCM Moral of the Month: Players don't like being restricted, so whenever possible choose the option that does not restrict them. You can piss them off by forcing them to use a different head, or you can just change the RC Head to something that makes more sense - or that is not an arbitrary head25 at all times. I mean, it's a decent argument, and it probably will make things less confusing, but there have to be better things you can do with your time than stop players from wearing the RC head...

Ask Archaon how long it took, he was there at the time. It was literally less than five minutes. The time argument doesn't really apply here.

I read this whole thread before writing my post in, and I can conclude, Kaimetsu, that your decision to restrict this head was flat out retarded. There is no reason to restrict any head in the game. So it's "the RC head"? So what? RCs have things to distinguish themselves as RCs, they're called staff tags. They don't need a head exclusively for them, and if any ***** is stupid enough to mistake an RC impersonator for any staff, they deserve what they get.

No they don't, if they are too stupid to realize someone without a staff tag who isn't in the staff list who is saying they're an RC is lying, they probably wouldn't know how to turn a computer on, much less how to play graal

Which won't happen because I'm not sucking up to staff to become staff, if I ever wanted to be in a position of power I'd make a PW.

LOL that's how a lot of people become staff at all, they leech off thier friends who are staff, denying those who would do a better job positions. I've seen it plenty of times

No, I didn't say that's how everyone becomes staff, just how most of them do. I fail to see why anyone would want to be staff to tell you the truth.
