Not sure why, but the client will sometimes crash due to my baddie system when the baddie attacks the player. Never did this in v5.1.

Lol shock sites?
I get a notice when I'm about to visit an unsafe site that has been reported to download trojans and viruses to visitor's computers. Anyone who gets such notices like I do could take down the URL name, then make an NPC that opens the page for players or make a staff command for themselves that finds a specific player they dont like, then opens that page.
if their target doesnt have protection against this, then the attack is a success and now they have a major problem. (Note that some sites can trigger their own download without the user's permission.)

That are the stats from when it was laggy? I don't see anything slow except a couple douzen of slow tree scripts.

The stats you have attached are from which server? It looks like you were in a particle test level, 30 particle emitters emitting tons of particles?

We also need to remove the 3d-visibility sliders. Wondering if we still need the particle-options, with the new version the particles should be fast enough and the script variables are not checked for on a lot of servers.

The particle setting is pretty useful really. Just because most servers aren't taking advantage of them doesn't mean that those that do should suffer for it.

I didn't know it had to be slow during the test... I just sat idle and did other things. Isn't it slow for you too? I don't feel like constantly moving slow for 10 to 30+ minutes while waiting on an admin to probably not respond, you know? If I still had RC I would do it myself, but I think I was removed for being away too long, and the whole staff team changed since I was last on, sooo blah.

Well the goal is to reduce the lag/slowness for people who have the problem. Most people actually report major increases in speed.

To everyone who has performance problems:
- Please tell us your Windows version and Graphics card
- On your favourite server please get an admin doing "/clientstats youraccountname", twice, with 10 seconds inbetween, and post or attach the second of those stats here
That way we can eventually see what is slowing you down.

Whenever I open the task manager while Graal is running, the client freezes.

Although, its only the image that freezes. I can still hear myself walking around if I use the arrow keys.
So, task manager crashes the clients video...

I'm running on windows 7 home premium, 64-bit.
ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics card.

But, I had this problem on the last client as well.

Try to resize the window a little then back to what you had it. The image should unfreeze if it's what I'm thinking it is. I'm guessing when you open Task Manager, it's prompting you with the User Account Control that blanks the screen slightly asking you to Continue?

Resizing the window just makes everything black.

And no, its not prompting me with the user account control.

My client stats are attached.
And I also noticed some other weird things.
Pure white tiles on the tileset dont draw correctly. They seem to appear as transparent, so, anywhere with white tiles, it the image gets skewed. (Image attached, left is v6, right is v5)

And one more thing, when using this script:
PHP Code:
new GuiDrawingPanel("Tile_Editor_Tiles") {

0;

width 2048;

height 512;

clearall();

drawimage(00gettileset());

The tiles will not draw the full 2048. It seems to draw the control, just not display the image.
About half way, the image just dissapears, but it actually extends the parent control the full 2048.
