Well, I've seen hints at new quests, new towns, new locations (i.e. Antiquah temple, etc.), new jobs which also brings new types of npcs (insects), new materials (glass from the sands of the volcanic island in the Southern Sea for example), the possiblity of magic existing, and the possibility of sanctioned RPing (meaning staff helps the players in terms of roleplaying, see that things actually happen).

The inspiration is derived more from Myst than ghost stories. Who dosen't love a world where every nutjob leaves their personal journal strewn about the land for all to see?
