Yes a disease doesnt belong in a game directed towards kids as you claim. But yet Swords, Bows and other weapons is just fine and dandy. If they take out Anthrax they should take out every single thing that is violent. What does that leave us with? Metris.

On another note I'm American and I'm not offended. It's just a bunch of idiot babies who want something to cry about. If not this then they would find some thing else to cry about. Such as what SS and SD stand for.

First off, I am as American as the day is long and a big fan of the government. I am not a terrorist, an anarchist, or a chaotic. Remember that as you read this.

Second off, ANTHRAX IS A NATURALLY-OCCURING COW DISEASE WHICH CAN SPREAD TO HUMANS. A cow disease. Now will you say that Graal can't have cows because cows imply the possibility of anthrax? Anthrax fits the setting, so why *****?

Third off, Would you really feel better if the skull said "That is the bubonic plague"? The Plague has killed more people than anthrax.

Fourth off, it's been almost a year since the WTC/Pentagon attacks and the anthrax scare. No more than perhaps 1/1000 of people should still flip out every time they read the word "anthrax."

I have a Crystal Sword of Anthrax. +100 Poision Damage. Why? BECAUSE IT'S A POISION. I think that pic is doctored anyway. The pic is just screwy, and it doesn't give a weight or anything.

Anthrax is an infectious agent buried deep within the earths surface that is the result of years of biodegration. It came from Crimea into the European continent and killed 1/3 of it's population.

So if you really want to get technical, like I said in my previous post, the black plague IS anthrax. That skull can be used for all sorts of neat stuff. I know for one that I would get that skull, load it onto a trebuchet and catapult it into a city. The people get sick there and they die!

Ohno, but I suppose we can't havce that happening, this is a game for kids...

The Black Plauge killed lots of people it isnt, Hush hush OMG DONT TALK ABOUT THAT. Yes Anthrax filled alot of people, So Has the flu,Cancer,Car Crashes,Air Plane Crashes,Guns,Bombs,Arrows,

If anthrax, a natural disease, is too extreme then hadn't they better disable swords on every server. Disable dying. Disable magic. Disable every weapon. Disable the hurt gani. Disable the death ani. Maky dying impossible. Remove baddies. Add pillows (extra soft mind you).
Then rename the game to "Ultimate Pillow Fighting".

If you say "No" then that means there is nothing wrong with anthrax being in the game.
If you say "Yes" then that means you should just walk away from Graal and never play it again.

Conclusion: This is not a big deal. This is a [SIZE=0.5]minute[/SIZE] deal. If it's too extreme for you then stay away from Graal. If it's not then it is none of your business if it is too extreme for someone else.

Did you ever notice how when something happens to america and someone takes a "crack" at it, or puts it somewhere "like anthrax in this game" everyone freaks out... If someone made a computer game where you are a terrorist and you have to crash a plane into a building, lawsuits would be all over the place, yet world war 2 games can sell like crazy. The world is ****ed.

It's a word in a game.
Just because the word has been associated with terrorists in the past year doesn't mean it won't be used anymore.
What about the nuclear explosion in Japan? (I think it was Japan)
People that were affected by that have gotten on with their lives and they don't go ape everytime someone mentions anything remotly similar to do with what happened.
And a few days back the plane crase in Ukraine where a fighter jet in an air show crashed into the crowed killing 63 people.
The people who survived arn't going to go and get all mad and upset if they see a plane in a game are they?

Your points are way differant. The nuke was what, 50 years ago? I'm sure the Japanese didn't wouldn't want to see that much nukes in games for a few years...

Jets are common things, not meant for killing. Anthrax isn't common, and is meant for killing.

I also think it's stupid to take anthrax out, it's just like any other weapon or poisen. But, if people are offended by it, it won't hurt us to rename it. Really, what do you care if they change the name of the anthrax to plague? If it offends people, may as well change it.
