Where Shall I start...? How about a summary.
Alk, First of all I see you online on 2k1 maybe three times a month. You're not very active on 2k1. I asked for your AIM name, and you said that I could find it on forums, but only people on your buddy list can "See" when you're on. That's fine, I respect that with your high position you don't want people IMing you 24/7 (as I assume happens with Kamuii).
One of these rare times you are on, (And it isn't even your own initiative, it was because of a post on the forums) you come on to ban someone, Zurkiba, who Geno reported on the forums as hacking (Without proof, but I'm not here to complain about Zurkiba being banned). So you go on 2k1, ban Zurkiba, and fire CheeToS for not banning him.
Alk, while you may know CheeToS, apparently you don't know him very well. Considering that you're on 2k1 so infrequently, the only method that I could forsee you speaking with him is AIM (And I asked CheeToS, and he said you guys talk on AIM often), firing him tells me you don't really know him as well as you might think.
The first time I met CheeToS when he was a police, I got the impression he went light on people. As I got to know him better, I grew to understand this method. Go light on them as a warning, and if they do it again, go harsh. The key is to give people a chance to reform. I agree with this - Quite a lot of people have the ability to reform.
CheeToS believed Zurkiba possessed this ability to reform, and I readily agree with that. The important thing, howerver, is that this philosophy of being able to reform SHOULD have been applied to CheeToS himself. Being by far one of the best Police Chiefs I have seen, I really can't believe that he made one mistake and he's gone.
CheeToS is active, smart, funny, and good at what he does. He's a damn good police chief. Alk, if you have any kind of heart, you will bring him back, and forgive him for this ONE mistake he made. If you don't have any kind of heart, well, let's just say I have a few other words which are less than nice which would apply to you.
As a final note, as a believer in CheeToS' philosophy of the chance to reform, I consider this your chance to reform from your mistake in firing CheeToS. Thank you for reading, and good day. |
