Dude, do you realise that you just admitted to effectively cheating in the poll? Or stated a reason why your votes could be dismissed? If your friends are doing all that voting then it's not fair because it becomes more of a popularity contest rather than an objective analysis of the better candidate.

Polls for this stuff are stupid. Unless it's an issue important enough for at least half of everyone on the forums to vote, then it's always going to be unacceptably open to unfair influence ¬_¬

Believe me,my friends are respectable people,well...most of them anyways. They would vote for the person who they trust the most.Besides,i'm not begging them,i'd tell them to vote on the poll for who they think would be the best suited, and since they know me the best, they will vote for me,got it?Besides, like Kaelingk didn't have his friends vote, and it doesn't even have to be on purpose

[edit] Besides,if it were actually cheating i wouldn't of done it.I haven't told anyone to vote or even told them about this poll, but ifi ts a crime to tell them to vote, then i won't do it[/edit]

Involving friendship in it at all is a bad thing. What do you think your friends will do if you send them a link to the poll? Is it surprising that they'll vote for you? Feigning ignorance gets you nowhere. In the first paragraph your words suggest very heavily that you told your friends to vote, yet you say otherwise in the second. I think you're lying, and I think the successor should just be whoever the hell Brad chooses.

If you have only one friend capable of voting then you wouldn't have used the plural earlier.

And if it was an example then it was the same kind of example as this:

"I was in the computer lab today and I did some programming. I like programming."

The kind of example that isn't actually an example.

I sent the link to all the people on my buddy list that are active on the forums, some voted for Holy, some for Aeros, and few for me.
I'd say about 4 of my votes came from friends, and I sent the link to several people.

But Aeros, Kai's right, you did contradict yourself.

I don't think we need an events admin so fond of ambiguity.
