As I said, the above is just my opinion and I can appreciate certain arguments to the contrary... however I just feel that any foreseeable benefits to intermingling are mitigated by their negative counterparts.
Well the speed of a player on the iphone is greater than that of a PC player so I think the playing field is well even. Also I think PC players interacting with the Iphone users is a great way to promote the PC Client as PC players can give suggestions and referrals relating to the real client.

Could possibly increase profits if the Iphone server is introduced as a gold membership benefit.

The iPhone players movement speed is faster, but after you take into consideration how much more control the PC player has over the iPhone it's not even close to fair.

Another advantage the PC players have over the iPhones, is that they don't have speed loss due to processing constraints.

So actually, the playerfield is far from even.

This is a good idea in my opinion as well.

I honestly don't even care about the PKing aspect of it, I would rather just play for the communicating/socializing aspect of it.

Yeah, I feel the same way too. But If I suppose if what fowlplay4 said was true, then it wouldn't be logical for PC players to play.

Also, that house update looks nice.

I can't believe it, is it actually going to hit 1000?

Once again, keep up with the good job Stefan, Unixmad & all the other people working on the Iphone Server. :]

I bought an ipod touch so that I could play this. It's about 10 times more fun than regular graal, just because of the community.

Bombs and arrows need to be displayed on their buttons though.

You gotta also realize that the server itself is pushing hundreds more players than that throughout the day! When we're working, or handling issues amongst the players, we see a lot of familiar faces; and a lot of unfamiliar faces too.

Without a doubt, I'd say that we have well over 1,000 unique players.

Totally.
As I was playing this, I was saying to myself, "this is amazing!"
600+ people consistently is an awesome accomplishment!
I'm concerned with Cyberjoueurs being able to keep up such a high-volume server, considering there are no third-party ads(not that I want them), and the only source of income is the one-time fee of $1.99 for the app and the people purchasing gelats. Is that income sufficient for(in the long run) adequately supporting a server of 600+?
1)If not, will there be a higher(or even monthly) fee for playing on the iPod touch?
2)or, will it eventually 'run out of gas' and end the project altogether?

If everything's A-Okay, then I guess there are no worries :]

Well with the upgradable features being purchasable, I'm sure they have made around $1k already on the iphone game. I would suspect over time they would put more upgradable features and possibly move onto inserting 3rd party ads if profits do decrease significantly (I have no idea if Apple allows 3rd party advertisements on free apps). As long as the demand is strong, they will charge for a lower price
