Thats true and by that same merit any scripter could be a potiential good canadate.

I was speaking strictly on the grounds of being very good at scripting, you say Novo, I say Hell Raven.

Knowing how Gscript works is a very big advantage to being on the team and I dont know of anyone else besides Stefan who could do what HR can do.

I think willingness to help out/good player relation skills are more important than being omgthebest scripter.

Out of pure skill, Hell Raven is without a doubt the best I've worked with.

However, I have not met a lot of these other scripters, so I can't say he'd be without a doubt the best canidate.

I'd still support him if he was interested though.

Kristi is most interested . I reckon he is the best candidate for the job but as for the most talented gscripter...that's hard to call really.

Skyld is still around, isn't he? GST never actually takes someone away from Graal, it's the people growing up that does.

As far as I've seen ,all of the "great" scripters are late teens, and have to break off from Graal for college and what not, so they leave, it's just a coincidence they are in GST.

If we had people like Chandler, who is new"er" to Graal, I think he'd be with it for the long run seeing as he is just getting the addiction going.

Also, I think the GST should be like the go-to people for scripting help and like go around different servers offering script advice/help. Reason is, that so many servers die due to the scripters giving up or things just not working.

What's the point? You have said where he has worked, not what he can do. He could have been an FAQ at any of those places. Still, that doesn't mean that he can script.

Yeah, Mania said that crap because I left the server and went to work on Zodiac where the staff actually worked.

Funny how I told Mania to back up his claims and he never seemed to do so. I love the senseless accusations, really. I'd love to know what these systems were and how I messed them up.

I've been scripting for many years now, and I've scripted on plenty of servers. I've also helped quite a few people and I've released a lot of scripts in the code gallery. As for Maloria, Zone, and Zodiac, I was head of development on Maloria and Zodiac (was working on the dev project when we started it plus I worked on the main server and made a few systems such as the swimming system and the bounty hunter system and so forth) and I'm currently in the midst of scripting a few things for Zone (sniper rifle and an admin system that's already exceeded 1400 lines of code).

My reputation is not the best because I'm naturally argumentative and I don't just sit back and praise everybody. I point out flaws where I see them and I get on peoples bad sides for not kissing their feet over everything they make. I don't really mind, though. I'm just going to continue scripting. I'm not the best scripter, but I try hard. Always have, always will.

I worked on Maloria a good year ago, before I even knew GS2. And I posted a thread with like all 40 something scripts that I made for the server in a 6 month span that actually kept the server active and productive. Once I left, everything just started spiraling down as everybody started losing interest. I did no wrong for Maloria, but moreso the exact opposite. The old Maloria staff will say otherwise because they disliked me since I would always call them out for not doing any work while I was doing it all, but look at how far they got without me. Maloria is gone. Of course, Maloria had a chance to continue after I left, but it began to slowly fall until it finally got to the point that it's at today. It's sad, Maloria had great potential and would have gone far with better management.

You've worked on all of those playerworlds, I couldn't really care less though. It's not about where you've been, it's about what you've done.

Yes, but you say it to me like I listed them as an accomplishment. Somebody else listed them, I just explained what I did on those servers.

I worked on Maloria ages ago, so that doesn't mean much to me. Some of my systems on Zodiac are still used and are quite nice so those arn't too shabby, though I stopped working on Zodiac a few months back.

The only one of those servers that I still work on is Zone.

Gambet is a mediocre scripter. Like 1-10 scale, he's a 5-6.

He can script, and he does do a decent amount of work for the community. I would not put his ability anywhere near Hell Raven or Skyld though.

However he hates critisim, he can be very immature, and he's also prone to fits of drama.
