Requesting clarification regarding the rule against external links

You don't seem to understand. The NGRT is not being taken away, it is simply being moved away from the main forum, and will, if I understood Unixmad correctly, have more relaxed rules.

I don't get why some people don't read all posts regarding an issue.
As I have said more than once: When the NGRT is moved to the private section, it will have more relaxed rules. Unixmad does NOT want external links on the main forums, and hopefully he will allow them in the NEW NGRT.

When I read this, I took it as you saying more relaxed rules meant no posting external links. Which is not what was said, or implied.
Unixmad never said the main forums would have more relaxed rules, only the new NGRT when it is finished.
Maybe I am confused as to what you meant by that post?

Sorry your name is still in blue, so I assumed since you are still boasting the supermod colors, your forums admin position is not yet official as well.

Have you even read the rule? I know you have to have seen it at least once by now, it says No external links on graal forums, this relaxed forum will still be a GRAAL FORUM.

You can't submit a support ticket about the support center being offline, because it's offline. Meaning, the error will go unreported because a ticket will never be received and our lovely customer service will be halted!

It sounds to be like you are just doing preferential moderating. It's nothing to be ashamed of, but just admit that you are doing this because you don't want to enforce the rule.

There can be little question to what the rule states, even if it does sound crazy.

Personally I think this rule is a little silly and should moreso be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Ok, to clarify. I talked to Unixmad, and this is the conclusion:

Linking your sig to an outside source (such as imageshack) is ok, as long as it is not clickable. If it is clickable, it must be to a Graal related site.

Graal related sites are allowed, such as sites for Playerworlds, they will be moderated for innapropriate content.

The no links rule does apply to the NGRT also, but will be allowed when the NGRT is moved to the private forums.

I will not be going back and removing links that were posted before this rule went in effect, but all moderators should enforce this rule from now on.

All links that are in signatures that are not Graal related should be removed, or will be removed.

So the only thing keeping us happy is the fact that *some day* in the future, we'll be able to have fun on the NGRT forums. Ah, some day.....
