He was gone for a few weeks at minimum. He wasn't on Graal though he was on AIM and MSN.

The reason people came back after Jenn left was because there were staff positions opened.

But really it was because everyone was being an "OMG JENN SUXXX LOL" **** and refusing to play the server while she owned it. It's so terribly wrong for people who don't play a server to complain about it's playercount.

Not to mention you've got those people who logged in expecting some marvelous sever change just because Jenn wasn't the manager anymore, the leaving when they realized things like that don't happen overnight.

It was Jenn's fault, but they really just came back because there was ACUAL StAFF ON! While Jenn was manager no activity went down and no RCs were on..
So when we all saw Velox and Snake on we were all like "O SNAP TIME TO GET STAFF AND SUCK UP"

What's funny about this whole thing is that Snake said and carried out his plan to stick close to Jenn's plan of Era, yet everyone and their dog had a problem with Jenn, but everyone LOVED Snake.

Jenn = Serverside PKing system
Snake = Clientside PKing system

Serverside PKing system + Guns != good.

Don't blame it on Jenn please, the system was mainly made by me. On Zone the serverside system works quite well, I have not heard of complains yet. The problem with Eras bullets is that they are damned slow, making small delays between client and server a big difference. It has been changed now and will probably stay like this.

ClientSide = What the recieving player sees. When a bullet hits them on their screen, they get hit.

ServerSide = What the server sees. A lot of the time, the server can't tell if the bullet hits the player or not because the bullet gives the player too much time to move around. On Zone, the bullets go 3x faster, therefor serverside works 3x better.

No they won't..
There was a glitch in the system and it was fixed...
The system (clientside) before the server went down is the one that will be used.

Omfg, how queer is that. Anyway, Jenn's reset was quicker because she just put everything out without checking for errors. Rick is actually taking responsibility into making Era error-free and with that, the player count will be assured to rise. But why start another damn thread about it? Theres at least 50 threads about Era and its reset, the globals have already read it, why start another one? Im suprised Darla or whatever her name is didnt close it yet.

I wouldn't call Jenn's reset quicker; Or "without checking for errors". Jenn serversided everything-- Security was her top priority.

There was no thread remote to recent Era, or one targeted at this reset.
