Keep it simple windows or mac. We don't need to advertise these operating systems for hackers or to little kids that are going to strain themselves trying to install linux. Unless you have the mind to go farther, beyond the restricted boundaries of windows I suggest you remain on a simple OS.

As was said before, I doubt any more than one person who is using BeOS plays Graal (that's you, of course). Stefan does not need to go create another version of Graal just for this vaguely-known operating system; that's the pure and simple truth.
Just use BeOS for non-Graal things, and Windows for Graal. Or just quit Graal, and use BeOS, along with the three others that are using it in Canada, or the world for that matter.
Now would be an awesome time for a thread close. We're not getting anywhere with this.

A BeOS port would be similar to Linux, there is X and OpenGL as far as I know. If there are many people requesting it we could do a port, but it is probably not so important right now. We might do a Linux 64 binary sometime, although the 32bit works there too with compatibility libraries.
About installing Linux: that is probably easier than installing Windows (if you have ever tried to install Windows yourself, not a preinstallation, and then also installed all the gfx card driver, sound driver, network driver etc.)

So? That doesn't matter. And we never said there weren't any users whatsoever.
BeOS is not a major operating system, and is not broadly known.
Unless enough people were to go and request it, I doubt it's going to happen.

Yeah, I really don't appreciate you calling linux basically a "hacker system". Just because the people who are intelligent enough to hack, tend to run real operating systems. Just because linux is more secure and it's used by people who know what they're doing doesn't mean it's a hacker platform and I kind of resent that.

BeOS is not even developed or supported by anyone anymore. Get Cygwin and X, if that works for BeOS..
