Disagreeing with an idea you think is bad after you've thought about it doesn't make you closed-minded. By your logic, I could suggest we all wear bicycle tires for hats, and anyone that tells me it's a stupid idea is closed-minded, when in fact, it's just a stupid idea.
I also fail to see how we are the power hungry and corrupt, when we are against creating more useless global positions.
