This is stupid.

1) All people who abused the bug should lose 150% of the experience they gained from it.
2) Abuse of a bug and semi-privately wishing somebody to die is not justification for making crude sexual comments about somebody on a global scale.

Back when players used to gain EXP from other players they would get their second accounts and kill them for EXP. The ones who did this were completely reset I believe.

Bah, There probably is alot of people who abused that other then, well as you guys say Huang Di. I think the levels should just stay the same. And Amoun, if it's "Just a game" and people get so "Stupid" over it. What are you doing? Complaining over a "Stupid" game.

Are you all just ignorant?
There was no bug for gaining exp.
NO BUG. It was just an overlooked error. Noone should lose any exp for using lower levels in parties, they are not at fault at any way, they did nothing wrong. It is the staffs fault for overlooking the fact that it was possible to do so, noone was abusing any bug, I just owned you all who were complaining about Huangs level. Him and everyone else who used it were just smart enough to find out an easy way of gaining experience. End of story.

Most people in general are, but some aren't.

May I draw your attention to section 6 of the graalonline code of conduct? I have bolded the more especially relevant parts.

Quote:
Bug Abuse, Hacks and Trainers
This section refers to creating or using any program or technique resulting in unfair advantage via an undocumented feature or disrupting the datastream to and from the server. Such Memory Edits, Trainers, Anti-Idle Macros, Bots or any other 'hacks' destroy the balance of play in GraalOnline and reduce its effectiveness to remain an entertaining product. While a player may think that abusing a bug for personal gain may not affect others, the fact is that it distorts power, creates imbalances in riches, and is otherwise unfair to players abiding by normal game rules. Players must agree that the consequences of allowing bugs and loopholes to be exploited is so detrimental to the product, that GraalOnline will exercise no tolerance whatsoever for anyone participating in this type of activity.

Bugs should always be reported. If you observe someone else abusing a serious bug, or discussing a plan to abuse one, and fail to report it, you are subject to the same penalties as they are. Players should report bugs to the Graal forum, Support Center (GraalDesk) or email the problem to [email protected].

Rewards obtained from bug abuse may be confiscated, at GraalOnline' sole discretion. Failure to cooperate with GraalOnline as to the extent or nature of a bug, or failure to be honest about the rewards obtained from bug abuse, is grounds for immediate lock-out from GraalOnline.
Hopefully that explains it sufficiently.

Sure they did. See the quoted section 6.

Quote:
It is the staffs fault for overlooking the fact that it was possible to do so,
It is also the player's fault for knowingly abusing it.

Yes, they were.

I do believe then sir, that I just 'owned' you.

...Or stupid enough to abuse a bug/loophole. You be the judge!

Irrelevant. The principle is the same. The abusers knew that their actions were unfair, and should pay the price.

No sir, with your stunted linguistic skills and flawed logic you have succeeded only in owning yourself.

Yes. And all should lose 150% of the experience they gained. Whether or not this is practical is another matter - I doubt that the logs are sufficiently detailed to enforce the penalty.

There was no bug, you did not have to do anything different to do it, just party up with a level 1 and there it is. Find me a place somewhere in some un-existing ruleset for kingdoms that says you can not party with level 1s and let them kill things. Then I will believe you.
Any other player could have done the same thing, it was NOT unfair.

Did you read section 6? Or any part of my post at all? Your post seems to indicate that the answer to both questions is 'no.'

It was clearly an oversight; players were not meant to level up in that way. Anybody with even an iota of intelligence can see this. If you use an unintended method to level up more quickly then you are breaking the code of conduct and deserve to be punished. The same policy is enforced on all MMORPGs.

Of course they were not meant to level up that way, and it is not their fault that the their method was overlooked.
