Uhm wow dude, yea, I am having someone make one for me then. I am focusing one GFX right now, just wondering but me and spanky were talking, do you guys like Graal Kingdoms? Like the outline of it and what not?

Hehe, you will have trouble copying the layout of Graal Kingdoms without one of the best scripters in Graal. You will need a new version of the MUD essentially, scripted. The mud is the most complex thing I have seen in Graal, and controls almost every aspect of Graal Kingdoms...

All I am saying, try not to become a lousy rip off of GK. This PW seems to have a good potential, especially with paying people do make your stuff...so I would make something original if I was you.

I don't like Graal Kingdoms. I cant stand the terrain or the graphic. I like more cartoony graphics like oasis and Shifting Ages. Something about GK just rubs me the wrong way.

This is definately going to interesting.
The guy you hired is definately very good, and if you are so motivated to spend that much money, you probably won't drop this project in half a year.
The story, of course, also sounds pretty promising.

Yes, thanks Loriel, means a lot coming from you <3. I think the way we are headed, this server should do very well..I would post some more gfx as of late, but I want it to be a surprise. What we lack right now is scripters, I am sure once the levels are done we will find some good ones.

I am professionally having a tileset made, although the ones that graal players make often look nice, I would rather go with something a little more promising.

Spanky gets a little disgruntled about kingdoms because he sucks there, and wolfs always pwn him. XD

hate to break it to ya but shifting ages uses a terrain too

Yes, but not as much. Soul-Blade uses a lot of different tiles and such and thus gives shape to his levels while the g2k2-terrain levels only consist of not-so-flat ground, and random NPCs.

I know that, I've been talking to Soulblade over aim alot on various projects and I've seen screen shots. There is however a big difference in how the two servers use the terrain.

You of all people should know how I am using the terrain. I use it purely to have the additional benefits of creating one large level. I have not used "heights" once, which is what terrain is commonly recognized as, this is more of just using a gmap to form one large, preloading level

I know why you ued it, I'm just saying praising shifting ages for not being a terrain server is sort of 'false' I guess, even thought you use it much better than gk does

Wow guys...I just got part of the tileset back...omg pwn...

And ours is flat in the towns, not gk's where it is damned bumpy...>.<

We really need a badass scripter right now...and I am willing to pay someone

to do it.
