MrCharles will become famous soon enough
The only reason I wouldnt want a reset is.. if I lost my stats. Kills mainly.

I liked RPing on 2k1 when It was hard to get into a kingdom and stuff and getting into guilds was hard...

i think property should be kept, like houses and pets but reset money and hats and all that other good junk.
cause if you reset houses then everybody will get a house real quick and then keep them forever

That's what's going to happen if people keep houses and pets through the resets too.

As far as I know, a reset is pending only the final pre-reset work

Yeah, but now he's letting us reset because there's nothing left to lose.

It's not "all of the sudden."

It is the result of a long deliberation and the realization that there is quite frankly nothing to lose.

Well im not the only one that disagrees.
And while i may not play much anymore, i dont like the idea of a reset.
Most people i talk to all agree its because of 2k2 that its not popular anymore.
But anyway, go ahead and do what you have too.
I'll take a few screenies to remember what i had and say goodbye.

I agree, new OW, new games, new lvls, new quests etc..
Maybe keeping quests as they many as it is, and just keep the train and bombies, then get rid of current OW and start adding things as it will be fun.

And yeah, why not, nothing to loose, knock ya self out Jeff.

We have good content; I really think it would be foolish to flush it all down the loo when it could be improved and increased.

I think the current Overworld is fine. There is a lot of room to add things. But well, without quests, it's just going to stay trees. The only problem is, that quests are not easy to make because in order to be fun, they have to be original. I mean, sure, classic had many quests, but how many of them were more than just killing baddies and pushing blocks around? All it gave you was a different dungeon layout. I'd try a few things, but the last time I did any scripting was pre-NPCServer, so I doubt that I'm anywhere near good enough to do the scripting required for a quest at all. (Besides, I'm just a player, it'd never go anywhere anyway. ^.~ ). But I dunno, as far as quest ideas...

Maybe an exploration thing, like a hidden ruins or something. You'd have to find your way through the confusing maze, while avoiding traps like boulders, spiked floors, fire shooting from the walls and such. There could be different floors, and each floor has a key on it. The key is protected by a puzzle however, and you need to figure it out to get the key. (Puzzles like lighting torches in a certain order, or solving riddles, maybe the occasional block pushing...-.-; ) After you get the key, you need to also find the door it goes to. On the final level of the ruins, waits the prize. Maybe some sort of special item, or at the very least, a fullheart.

Ture, bad suggestion fo mine, Start by geting a BIG shunk of trees,a dn hollwoing out the center and make some intresting way in, and when inside have something intresting such as..

New Hats
Quests
Job
Items

And fun things like a few games (potable) as well as team games.
