I think you're a little confused about the chain of events. English football existed before Australian or American football, each of the plagiarist nations simply stole the name for their own sports. Cos that's the American way, yeeha.

Me neither, to tell the truth. I think most sports are more mindless and tedious than almost any other form of entertainment. I'd watch a thousand episodes of DBZ or WWF events before I'd watch one football match.

Yeah. Australian football is like:

Guy gets ball... guy runs with ball, bouncing it (I could never bounce it)... guy almost gets tackled... guy kicks the ball to a teammate... teammate kicks it through the goals...
