depending on how you place the tiles

Also looks like you have something like grass shifting into dirt, then directly next to it, you have grass shifting into mud...also note the height of the grass trails, it doesn't look right to me.

I was making tiles like that last night for Lahan(sp?), a Val nation last night =)
I don't really like the look of the trail when it uses two styles of tiles. To me, it's like mixing lava tiles with snow tiles.

I could understand different variations of one tile to add creativity, but those two different trail tiles are..well..different

Snow and lava? The two dirt path thingies are both grass/dirt. It makes it look more realistic too. You don't look outside your window and see PERFECT grass everywhere do you? I like it better than just one plain boring old tile that everyone has been using FOREVER.

If you ask me, level making is like putting pieces of a puzzel together. There can be alot of different puzzels, but the more pieces you have in the puzzel, the better the puzzel is. And now is the time where I drift off into a deep sleep while mumbling some ancient lore.

If you're tired with that SAME BORING TILE, then make a different one which actually looks good with the tile it orriginated from, THEN you would be able to use two different tile sets to make good levels.

Even if I did make one I wouldn't feel like waiting 10 years before it was added.

Because they don't know any better?
Now that I think about it, I'm gonna go make some chair images which can be used everywhere =)
