GK graphic fix request thread

Yes, anything with a "of _____" suffix.

If Tig is down, I am. I would love to create a new ring of fighting/combat/strife war, magic/high magic/adanant/elron and ring of thieves for the server.

I prefer the amulet to be a dragon scale instead of a carved image of a dragon

I think a metalic-silver dragon head alone would look sick, with a red/blue jewel encrusted eye.

But it's not really the mud image that I'd like to see changed, but rather the physical appearance while equipped on a player.

I just realized that the idle gani for daggers that I was seeing is not the idle gani that everyone else has been seeing. I replaced the file in my own directory last summer, and it's now been put online. A small tweak, but it points inwards when facing down now for a more relaxed look.

It's strange to me. Maybe, I guess, it will just take some getting used to.

This isn't really a graphics job, but since you brought up the gani.... Is there anyway the Wands gani could be tweaked? currently; if you use your shield the wand disappears and you just have your fist up in the air behind your head o.o

lol did you keep the failed cloak art in your graal folder?
anyways this is definitely worth fixing, I've got an idea for it.

What was the other gani request somebody talked to me about in game?

No, there hasn't been any update. When there is the client should automatically download it for you.

The new capes need fixing. They're good, gani wise, design wise. But the color's used are just not for GK, they're way too cartoony and don't match at all.

Golden Scepter Stray black line at the bottom that doesnt belong

The mud image for Golden Scepter looks a lot better than the actual wand itself.

Just tossing this out there; the Scepter its self looks cool but it doesnt really belong with its name o_o.... there is more green then gold on it :o The light around the head of the Scepter should probably be a yellow/ golden color to instead of white; seeing that the gem is yellow.

There is no image or mudicon for: Robe of Displacement

yet its still creatable and wearable :o

I'd like Con HSoD to get a unique graphic, it currently has the regular hsod gfx when wielded and the small shield of govannon (i think) mud icon.

It's perfect.. It's a High Shield of Defence, but it has constitution.

Well i see it as the same situation as Angel Shield and Angel Shield of Darkness. It's perhaps not of primary importance, but we've been mentioning other items here which share the same graphics as other quite plebeian items, Con HSoD is in the same boat.

it's not that it doesn't have an image.. or it's using the default.. it's a High Shield of Deflection- with constitution. It has NO reason to get an image re-vamp. It's exactly what it is.

Like i said, not of paramount importance, but it's something I'd like to see, simply because it's regarded as an item unique to HSoD. FHoM is another example, one more fitting because it also has variants based on old alchemy. The dexless one has the old gfx while the dex has the newer. It doesn't have to happen, but would be nice.

This is a very valid point made here. But, as owner of a old alchemy High Shield of Deflection, it's not that big of a deal but would be nice, as Majin stated.

the golden fhom (dex fhom) would be nice to see touched up. nobody bothers wearing it since it's ugly as sin

very good idea, it has potential and is probably the most used helmet. This should skip a lot of stuff on your list Alarid.
