We're making some excellent progress! Aeko got fancy with the cloud tiles and it looks like we jumped out a comic book. It's all looking mighty fine! Screen shots attached.

Graal bodies don't make good platforming sprites no matter what you do. Trust me, I've tried.

Also, I can't say the grid is very appealing. Yes, the world works in blocks, but that doesn't mean we need to see them. Minecraft and Terraria both deal with editing blocks, but neither force the grid into your face in the graphics.

I would also suggest that the player should not be able to see what is several layers below them. Maybe just the dirt/cavern areas without minerals until the player is near.

Also how are you going to setup an overworld? Is there going to be a few hundred horizontal levels with the possibility of digging down (or building up)? Would there be multiple overworlds? Would players be kept separate from one and another or on one overworld?

All of your suggestions are pretty good. I am going to say though that the blocks were only a prototype product from Aeko, but he says he can improve on them (although I like them as they are)

Did you see my post asking how this will work? :P

Will this have a generator like Minecraft and let the players create / destroy blocks or will be have levels made by LATs?
