That was my only point.

Like I said originally, on these forums the majority of people can only post based on what is presented in this thread. That does not mean I'm misinformed, because you're posting details and screenshots, and they're pretty consistent. I personally don't believe my opinion would change if I seen the rest of the server. My point still stands.

Like I said originally, when someone talks about a server as a whole, has seen it with their own eyes, and knows the future plans, you can't, respectably and whole-heartedly, respond. You dont know what he knows. Know, going on, I, of coarse, wouldn't typically, as any other owner in development, spill ALL the beans of a server in development. I still haven't. What has been presented in this thread is the finished results thus far. What Precise was talking about was beyong the finished results thus far, and you replied to it idiotically, not knowing it. First off, you are seriously comparing players to developing server? You compare real life people to development server?! lol. Decus, btw, was obviously comparing the result of him not knowing anything about US, yet saying you should worry more about your guild, just like you know next to nothing about the actual server Armageddon but reply to someone negatively who knows all I and Decus plan to do. You're being a plain idiot. Which by the way, I'm not calling you one directly, you are being one by constantly fighting this argument when I've directly said you don't know anything about it really, especially since you've never logged on since it came back. All these other people responding have logged on. They don't even know the complete future (although I or Decus have told them a great deal of it), so they have more say than most. A lot less people to cater for? Must be nice, but no say in development of a server, which obviously, from what I've read, didn't happen much when you were managing one. Compare one thing to another? Again, you just compared guild members to developing a server...

Care to point out which of the 13 lines which include 27 ideas, which is only 1/3 of what is planned to be implented as unique (some of them are on kingdoms, I bet you'll only reply to those)??? Btw, a good 1/2 of those are already on our server or in the works right now.

Also, 22 pages and all the screenshots are consistent within the last year and a half or so? We've changed everything totally about 3 times to reach where we are, so that's a stupid statement.

Apparently you still don't understand. I should have just quoted "This will definitely be a server to change the quality standard for future player worlds a-like." because that is what I was responding to. Everything you have posted looks bad to me, and it is consistently bad, and this is finished to you? Okay, I am entitled to say what I said. I don't have to know every nook and cranny, that is not how games are judged by consumers in real life, and that certainly isn't how it works on Graal.

The player house system is on the move. I'm amazed on what I can still do after quite a few beers!

Should be about 1/4 done tonight. Finished probably earlier than a week.

We also need bug testers, and I'm going to put in a system to file bug reports for things so we can fix them. I will announce when this is ready to go.

Oh, I never even logged on. The point of this thread is to gauge your server. And it does a bad job. I looked at what was posted, got the whole "wow this doesn't seem special at all!" feel, and then saw your ridiculous posts.

I'm sorry you can't manage to advertise your server very well, and have to dismiss any (well deserved!) negativity as just being negative for the sake of being a jerk. I'm not trying to be a jerk, I honestly believe your server is nothing interesting!

To be honest, I somewhat agree with Rufus, and I don't really like the unfinished look of it all. You guys should spend more time on every single detail to put on there, and the graphics could sure use a more refined look. If people can play your server, then they will, even if graphics are not on top of what appeals them. But after all, do you really want to go on and finaly look like any other server to attract the same players?

I'm not one to judge at all, even if I am a developer myself, but there's one thing I know when I create content for my own project, as I expect to attract oldbies but also a whole lot of new players: quality everywhere. This is why it takes so long to create something new, even longer with such small team I and Armageddon do have, but it is also what players usualy expect from us.

He pretty much says gfx aren't going to change it, then you say gfx are appeal. How is that agreeing?!

Secondly, of coarse it has an unfinished look. The server isn't finished. Things are constantly approving with our 3.5 man team.

Thirdly, we might resemble A server or TWO, but we aren't going on looking like any other server. Thats a vastly broad remark to make. Really? Our GFX tileset and images on the lvs look like UN, Era, Zodiac, Kingdoms, or N-Pulse?! Thats not even a majority, and with the way ours are, barely, slightly resemble 1/3 of the servers ever.

We only got one, and he's inactive atm. And when you log on it says we actually need 3 now. The staff opening thread has almost never helped us, which is why it's out of date. We have, technically, 1 GFX. Decus. Hes getting pretty decent, actually really good imo, but he started GFX like 3 months ago really, besides some random things. Obviously an experienced GFX artist would solve problems, which is why we are still looking for one.

On the last paragraph Soala. Agreed, completely. It's too hard to find dev, so most of dev server is just what they have and that's about it, period. Thats why I, as a pretty inexperienced scripter, have to force myself to learn stuff, and make, sometimes, pretty sloppy code that still works. We do plan to make stuff better, but we aren't obviously even in hosted yet.

Either way, I don't really care on people critiquing how I post on a thread or advertise. I'm pretty sure that doesn't matter as much as the content of the server when it's released, and others seemed to be at least a bit excited, which, I'm very sorry you aren't after reading this. My bad.

I've given you those 13 lines and 27 ideas. Care to remark on the non-unique points of each of them? Its at least the 2nd time to ask, and you keep avoiding it. It pretty much disproves that GFX isn't the only thing that this server has to differentiates itself from other servers and that ours isn't like "every other server (specifically UN, right?)". But ... keep going.
