337 years ago, a catastrophe hit the planet Earth. This catastrophe was known as the Great Black. Back then, Earth was divided into three colonies. Colony Noi, Mythril and Knorr. Each colony was lead by a heroic *super soldier*; Ace lead Noi, his heroic exploits in the Icelandic field were legendary. Then their was Lieutenant Storm Leonhart, he lead Mythril which was the smallest of the 3 but, although their Colony was the smallest, they had no problem easily matching the largest colony of Knorr. Knorr was lead by Stefan, although Stefan wasn't a great warrior, he was incredibly intelligent and lead the largest, most advanced civilization. These three great warriors were said to have abilities which are equivalent of todays soldiers through advancement and genetic enhancement. These three Colony's were constantly at war with each other, until it happened.
At 9:45 AM, on April 24th, 26XX it happened. The Great Black came, no one knew what it was but when it stuck, it struck swiftly. It's known as the Giant Black because it was literally a giant black planet, it was roughly 3/4 the size of earth. Giant black rods came crashing down into the earths oceans from this giant black planet, within a month the oceans were dried up and the planet began to become unstable, so the leaders created a plan, and with the combined efforts and advances in science made by Knorr, they were able to create the very first mass space craft. And within no time, they created 74 space crafts. These massive crafts sent approximately half a billion people into space, the left were left to die with the planet.
After finding planets with suitable living conditions, the three leaders of this united colony founded homes on them, they called the area of these planets the "Zone". Only 42 of these ships have ever been accounted for. No one knows where the other 31 are, but alive or dead chances are they're out there. One of the ships that weren't accounted for was the leader Storm's ship. It's rumored that through genetic alteration he has managed to survive for 300 years. After having lost all ties and becoming just one united, the people of Earth began to combine their efforts. 220 years ago the first space station was created, there people were able to live instead of having to stay on the planet. A safer means if anything. 100 years ago scientists discovered away to be reborn, even if killed. Although it will only last as long as your body is able to handle itself. With this invention the Zonians were able to have some interesting combats, in order to keep diligent, in shape and combat ready encase something were to ever come back.
Today we Zonians enter constant battles to test our abilities that drive us to the next level of battle. We're always fighting to be ready if the ancient enemy were to ever return. Everyday new planets are found and processed for battle. We never know what might await us on those planets. Our conflict will never end and every day is a challenge. Hero's rise and fall every day and who knows the next hero, could even be you. |
