Hmm, I think that everyone should be able to use all Gangweapons, But when u arent in the Specific gang you have more freeze, less damage.

The reason they're called Gang Guns is because they can only be used by the selected gang. Is that too hard to understand?

Gang guns should be nothing more than novelty items, to show off, and be proud of...so you can say, "Hey, I'm a Blazian Bandit," as you shoot your BB Magnum

ok finished the guns [pk aspect] thanks to a few players

guns are now in the progress of being made [UZI/HANDGUN are finished]
Damage system works too [Melee/Gun attacks]

I agree gang guns should be novelty... perhaps not just to show off, but instead just statistical copies of weapons available to everyone. That way they have no advantage over others, but still have custom graphics and name and all to call their own.

I think gang-guns should still be pretty well-rounded, but they shouldn't have guns like the G36k being just as good, if not better than the Metal Storm.

To add to this idea, gang islands should be added with specific themes for each gang.

That's just an idea though, and I don't want to turn this thread into an idea spree.

What I think should happen is gangs initially have no gun. But, a gang should be able to pay a hefty sum of money to be able to get their own custom gang gun. What would happen then is they would be allowed to pick an existing gun accessible to all players for purchase(like an Uzi, for example), and use those stats for their weapon. They would then be able to customize the graphics and gani's and such to their liking. If they wish to change the gun they have to pay again to have it changed.

This way, gang guns aren't statistically overpowered compared to other players, but still offer a sense of gang-only customization. It also provides a money-sink.

ok

got all basic guns done [Uzi/Handgun/AK47] and also started on the dual guns with Uzi [first] and all works fine, got someone amazing working on the guns [statistics]
going to start work on the hotkeys for it [Primary Weapon [AK47] (D) and secondary weapon [Punch, Melee Healing, Grenades, Uzi/Handgun etc] (S)] tomorrow, which is going to be fun!!

Grenades/bombs should be a separate key, like G or something...Would be cool

I think you are going in the wrong direction to balance weapons. PKing has changed, and so has the community. You honestly shouldn't change it too drastically. It's going to do nothing but piss players off. Guns can still be balanced without having to bump up the freeze on every one.

There's still going to be a level of skill with guns as long as they are balanced.
