I agree, Jigga, your better off concentrating on building one playerworld. I hate to say it, but none of the servers you own/manage will succeed, because you work at many places, or just have access to them.

I 100% agree with stan. Reviving a dead server is infinetly harder than coming up with your own original content. Usually there is a reason why the server is dead, and in the case of the majority of the ones ive seen you post about, its because theyre all pretty much teh same low-quality modern world with guns and cars, but they have no real plan. it seems like you have endless determination, but if you want one of your playerworlds to succeed you need a good plan and a good team of developers. To get both, you have to spend some time thinking about exactly where you want to go with your playerworld and what you want to accomplish, not just OMG GUNS AND MODERN BUILDINGS LIKE ERA AND STUFF!@. Hopefully someday you will come up with a nice original plan, because you seem to have quite a bit of dedication.

I've been everywhere on graal, staff everywhere, and even PWT in my early years, yeah. Fun, but who the **** cares.

I was an overactive RPer when I was 9 years old

But you know what? That really doesnt mean ****. Who cares if you were staff on UN, who the **** cares if you worked for runescape, or neopets, or anything else, its all online. Your friends could leave you tommorow, and where the **** would you be?

I've been there.

I used to have a full buddy list, now I enclosed myself.

If I talk to you, your probably really deep somewhere in me, and you should feel proud, because you've probably been helpful to me in the past.

The last 4 years of my life have been the greatest, I've had Graal Realms, Trinity, Atrius Runescape, alot of great friends who I will remember untill I die.. But I have something to tell you all:

You know what, you probably skimmed over ALL of this just to the end.

To make it short, Im leaving graal, leaving the computer, and just leaving it all period. I want to do something with my life, not waste it on graal.

So:

Thanks to everyone whos helped me through graal, yeah, that includes kuji and sage too (Graal X? Anyone remember?) :P

Oh, and I'd like to personally thank Jigga. Yeah. Me, Brad, thanking jigga. He really was cool in the past, and hes one of the nicest 'dawgs you can meet.

If you look at posts from me 3 years ago I made a new server every day. Even if he is still blah blah blah it doesn't really matter its a video game. The content is not being used either.

---Respect (EXP) & Reputation (Level)---
--Similar to EXP and Level system--
(Trash) -- Just started server.
(Young'n) -- New. getting spit on.
(Follower) -- Unrespected.
(Hoodrat) -- Unrespected. has a decent reputation.
(Street Cat) -- Known on the streets.
(Drug Dealer) -- Respected, Able to sell drugs.
(Gangsta) -- Respected. Can race cars, able to use prostitutes
(Druglord) -- Well-Known. New drugs available to sell
(King) -- Listened to.

---Street Gangs---

-Bloods
-Latin Kings
-Asian Knights
-Nazi LowRiders

---Cliques---

Players will be able to make small cliques of 12

similar to era's party system but with limits.

---Weapons & HP---
Real price weapons unlike other modern servers, and no access to army guns =\

- Regular Glock .45 = $450

in other words, same price irl as in server, it is so much money because we will also have a real Health System, the GFX shows your heart rate, and if your lucky you can get shot up to 9 times without dying.

---Jobs---

-Drug Dealing
-Street Racing

(only job so far)

---Communication---

Playerlist will be DISABLED. Players must use a payphone or purchase a cell phone, must have a bank account for cell phone. If player does not pay $.30 day charge for cell phone their cell phone plan will be cancelled.

---Prostitution---

Player can pickup prostitutes for HP Boost. Risk 20 min jail time.

---Jailing---

By doing illegal activities players may face jail time, not the jail staff use to punish hackers and such, jail that players will go to for getting caught smoking, selling, prostitution, and such. Players can face up to 1 hour in jail. Player must be in jail for timer to lower.

If player is in a jail they lose respect for every minute they are in, if they are drug dealer or above, they can lose contacts that want to purchase drugs and lose serious respect for that, or miss their street race. (Also if player is offline)

---Weather---

Undecided.

---Seasons---
Seasons will go by real world seasons. For example, if it is Winter irl it is Winter in the game.

Idea sounds way too intense, not to mention a lot like the Grand Theft Auto series. Theres nothing wrong with a realistic server, but why emulate all the bad parts of the Real World. Why not emphasize things like free enterprise/economy, player cooperation, as well as actual gameplay to keep players interested? Guns, Sex, and Drugs only seem cool for about 15 minutes,

Some of these ranks seem somewhat demeaning, and don't really seem like they would be encouraging for a player. Also, how long would it take for a player to reach the status of "King", with this system it looks as if after enough time everyone will be a King which could potentially ruin the realism element. Perhaps consider having player's gain respect only by completing certain quests that are available for a short time, or from other players giving them a respect+. Then you could have a separate leveling system that utilizes things such as strength, speed, and endurance that a player could boost by hard work. With this sort of system, you could have a cunning player who isn't very hard running the streets, with several much stronger players working under him/her as protection.

This idea seems fine with me, except for the whole Nazi part. While free speech is good and the Nazis were supposedly just a political party, they are pretty brutal racists and aren't setting a very good example for a game with many young teenagers in its playerbase. Perhaps allowing the leaders of gangs to come up with their own names would be a better idea.

These are both very good ideas that you should definetly expand on/implement.

I don't think street racing particularly qualifies as a "job", but certainly players could do it to make money. Some suggestions off the top of my head for jobs are:

Driver: Drivers deliver packages, mail, or any other goods for businesses/gangs to various buildings and areas throughout the server.
Phone Technician: Phone Technicians would be repsonsible for fixing the payphone and cell phone systems that you mentioned later in the post.
Merchant/Entrepeneur: Hard-working individuals can start their own businesses, such as retail (finished goods), raw materials, or even possibly real estate (players could buy/sell plots of land or buildings predetermined by the staff)

While I can forsee this as potentially becoming a nuisance to some players, It is an interesting idea and it is entirely your decision.

This is an interesting idea, but you would definetly have to be careful with it as it could easily lead to corruption/favoritism.

The seasons are different all over the world. When it is winter in North America, it is summer in Australia. You would have to pick a region of the world that your server will mirror for this one.

In conclusion if you make sure that your server is up to GraalOnline's legal standards, I think you could definetly be on to something. Whether you take these suggestions or not is entirely up to you, I just figured I'd add my two cents.

I am aware of the theme of the server, all I was saying as that the theme could be portrayed without the use of such negatively named ranks. The only rank that I particularly disagreed with was "Trash", why not just go with Pickpocket, Thug, or something else basic that still fits your theme?

Also, the theme really has nothing to do with street racing being a job. Especially if your server takes place in North America, where street racing is illegal. I wasn't implying that it should be removed, I was merely stating that it was not technically a job, as no one is employing you. If they were sanctioned drag races such as the NHRA, that would be a different story.

GTA rip off. Atrius wasn't that great when I helped out there. Let it die. Is Icarus still up? That server was hot, sucks that I ran out of gold and they fired me.
