New Graal Version 4.1 !

So are Gralats going to be exchangeable for PW monies? Will I be able to go into the Graal Classic Bank, check the exchange rate (probably monstrous given how common money is on Classic), and exchange 10,000 Classic Gralats for one GEuro? Then exchange that GEuro on Kingdoms for 1 Plat?

I love that idea, it would be neat if the exchange rate was controled by the money to active players ratio of that server.

I want more than a skin. I want the current one exactly the way it is as an option. If so then I'd be happy and tell unixmad and stefan "good job". Until then im angry and will be killing many people on many servers.

I don't takes meds. You're on my hit list for ever and I want to see the current F8 stay. I don't see the big hype in this whole flash games thing.

You people act like you've never ever played flash games before with other people. Seriously now...

CJ should be concentrating on quality servers at the moment, not some silly flash games or ruining the nice looking F8 menu. Oh well, to each his own I guess.

Personally, I like the games and stuff, even though it doesn't quite fit into Graal. But things change, but atleast make the GUI a bit nicer, at the moment it looks like one of these java/flash game pages

vvvvv Unixmad: It's not the general construction of the GUI, I like that, but, as Skyld already mentioned, it's the edgy, glowy and plastik design. The server list (red) looks really nice, I think, but I don't think the blue and red fit together that well, although that could just be me. For example, I liked the old red and green GUI, maybe even the blue one, those didn't have too many graphics, which I think, are a bit excessively used here.

Come to think of it, having a chat server with games scripted with the Graal engine would be cooler. You know, something like what Jagen has been working on.

I dont like the sounds of it at all, I came here for one reason, to play a game that was like Zelda online. Not to play a bunch of second-rate flash games for "Gralat".

I did not come for a 3d game, there are tons proceeding this one.

I did not come for Vector graphics and horrible loading times on people adding a ton of stupid BS to the servers.

Graal isnt a game anymore, its a development tool, and the development tools, arent even that good either.

This update is just wrong in so many ways to me ;/

We plan improvements for these things. The flash games could be integrated into an own server. The events and tables organization can also be used on Graal servers to easily organize sparring and similar.

Maybe an optino where it searches your gui files or maybe a gui text like.

guiprofiles=blue,blue2

etc.., then you have a dropdown list of all the guiprofiles listed in that. So you can make your own guis and simply add it to that and select it in dropdown. Just a thought ;D

Yeah, the GUI could definitely use a touch-up. The all-blue color scheme was nice, and really professional looking the new GUI is kind of a step back, graphics-wise.

Someone has brought it to my attention that now you cannot access the other tabs such as updates and whatnot. Those tabs really need to be brought back, or else people can't reinstall copies of graaleditor and stuff like that.

Dunno if this has been mentioned yet or not, but it should be.

I do agree that the new menu looks childish. I sort of like the games though. It's a good idea to attract osme people to Graal.

I just hope that when G3D is released (I'm sure you've done a great job with it) that it attracts some new people who like the whole 3D enviorment (sp..) and doesn't take away a good portion of the 2D players. The 2D isn't fun without a community.
