I didn't know the difference between toall and mass messages forever! I thought toall was the little blue thing

Hey I have another newbie question and I don't want to make a whole new thread for it... I made a peg for my pet, but I don't know how to use it? I tried grabbing it, that did nothing, and I tried double clicking it but that just picked it up. Thanks for all your help guys, I really do appreciate it.
