But of course, as long as it isn't something that someone posts that I specifically said I don't not need to know about but they felt like posting it anyways in an attempt to make me look less skillful then I actually am.

So a moderator can close everyones threads when they want, but can't close a thread when someone asks? I know atleast 1 moderator has viewed this thread. It really shows how great the Graal administration is.

Now lets wait for a moderator to pretend they do a good job, modify/delete my posts, and finally close the thread.

Yeah, we are all villaineous evildoers because we only use moderation tools in accordance with the rules and not on arbitrary requests. DOOM.

Why should a moderator heed such requests?

Why not? If there is an end to a thread and it couldnt possibly continue being discussed about, and the thread starter requests the thread to be closed, the thread should be closed.

It might just provide "the forbidden thing", Customer Satisfaction.

Has that happened here? How does one determine whether or not it has? And if it had, surely nobody would be posting anyway, so a lock would be redundant.

Why should we give the thread starter more authority than other users?

The answer was NO. You can not read server options with GScript.

What's your point?

Then why did you explicitly specify the creator as the recipient of this right?
