I really like this gear. Looks great. BTW, in my opinion, all event items should have like, a script in it, so that if it's in your menu (Even in a sack), and you have 2 other event items with this type of script, then you can't pick up more. Of course, this is easily avoided, but it might make it to annoying for high levelled people to keep more than 3.

Speaking of NPCs that change your appearance despite what armor you're wearing, I had an idea along those lines. Keep an eye out for that suggestion on the forums.

((My final thought, I think the armor is sexy, and I hope to win the event for it. <3 I can almost imagine myself wearing it already. Hell, I'd probably stop wearing my alchemy gear in favor of this.))

I doubt that would work, seeing how even cubes are event items. How is someone supposed to get a collection of 8 then? Also, with coins, the point is to collect as many as you can. Plus, those high-leveled players most likely have houses, while newbies usually do not, and you could just drop a prize there and no script would know.

Just make a script that you can only equip 2 or 3 even items.

Erm, lemme re-phrase that. Only event weapons would have that script in them. And yes, I know about houses, I voiced my concerns over that in my previous post. The thing is, if they have to keep running back and forth all the time to switch weapons, they'll probably get tired of that and decide to sell those items off anyway.

Nah, this wouldn't work. Most of these people hardly ever use most of their items. They hoard them, big time. I was in trade tables once listening to, uh, ed or someone like that. He was like "yeah, i used to have like 10 wiz hats in my old house (plus loads of other items like that), but my house fell down XD".

I can't imagine that it would be impossible to have some script that made a little log of what event items a person has...like the house script!
The house belongs to whoever opened the door last with the master key (as is my understanding, anyway). surely something like this can be transferred over to certain items, so that an account cannot "own" more than like 5 event weapons/armours at a time!
Also, it should affect alchemy items as well....maybe...

Not alchemy items, or at least, not forever. Eventually all recipes will be complete, and a kind soul (such as myself) would travel around and give these items out to whomever needs them. :]

Yeah if the recipes were re-added, the restriction would have to be removed, obviously.

If alchemy was properly re-added, a lot of the unbalance would go down the gutter. Certainly, many people would bevome stronger - but in the end more equal, too. Anyway, we're getting off topic... actually, we're getting off the off-topic we were talking about... °°

The knight brought his sword down on the evil princess who had abducted the innocent dragon, and even though she fought bravely, he eventually sliced off her heels and left her stranded in her den. After freeing the dragon which turned out to be green, he hopped on it's back so it would fly him home. After two days, the dragon eventually set him down - in his own nest, with his kids waiting for supper.

Speaking of alchemy, for those of you who know me, Stefan wanted me to rewrite all the formulas so that they work, and I did this, but Stefan was always too busy to view it, and I was removed from debug after one week for being inactive. I quit shortly afterwards, but I'm back on GK, and I just recently re-revised my revised list. I'm going to check it over to make sure everything is in order, and then I'm going to submit it to Stefan via Forum PM. I hope he accepts it, and I hope he'll let me do the testing to make sure it all works properly.
And, to make it so that the books that already exist which have the recipies? That's a piece of cake, we could just have a person standing around who would take the old books from people and give them the new ones. I'm willing to sacrifice my time for this.

As for the books, uh, i'm not implying anything here because i don't really know you (you seem like a kewl guy and all) so i can't pass judgement, but what's to stop these books from just being given to certain people that are favoured upon? =x

Well, Stefan entrusted me with this whole list, and I swore not to tell a soul about the recipes inside, and I've kept this promise. No one has learned of these recipes, well, not from me anyways, I know there are other complete copies of alchemy floating around out there, from other sources.
And, besides, if he would entrust me with this, and entrusts me with handing out the books, what would be the point in me giving books to people whom I favor? I could just simply tell them the recipes myself. But, if I haven't earned that much trust, he could always get some staff member to watch over me so I don't do that, or he could just have another, more trusted staff member do the job for me.

[EDIT] I asked a few nice friends of mine from Zormite to help me gather 1 of every single body-part that can be dropped by baddies, so I could get the exact names into the formulas. As most of you know, the old recipes often asked for body parts that don't exist yet, mainly due to many, many enemies which don't exist yet. This should make it much easier for me to double and triple check it. [/EDIT]

Did you incorporate panthers, sabret tooth tigers, food and snakeskin? Also, please use mushroom of heat and frost resistance somewhere

Yes, I used panthers and sabret tooth parts (hehe, sabret tooth tiger.) Hm...I should use those shrooms somewhere. Hey, do you know if there is a mushroom of lightning resistance? Because that would make my life a lot easier, and many of these formulas would make more sense.

I know that the grey one is avaliable with heat resistance, and the red one with cold... maybe the blue one? I've yet to see a rare edition of this one. maybe it could be added?

If you spend days walking up and down the road south from Hirathia, killing shroomys, you have a smil chance of getting one of these. I also have a mushroom of gurmet at home, with 300 food, but I don't know whether that one's still arround.

Yeah, they're rare drops by battle shrooms. You need to identify the shrooms they drop with woodlore or the identify spell, and you might have a very, very, very tiny chance of finding one. As a matter of fact, I once found a food that temporarily raises all your stats, but the trouble is, I found out it did that AFTER I ate it. :[ Goodbye, my mystical food of mystical goodness. One thing i have seen going on recently... is that some events that are being held only people who have good items win .....

another thing a couple of nights ago a Event master was on and Loriel was on...... the Event master asked loriel for some Et coins so he could hold some events but loriel wouldn't give him any coins =/ thats just wrong!

And it's not easy to avoid - even though personally I'm trying to avoid that - and the solution isn't raffle. Besides, I didn't have much quality time recently, but I'll do more events in the future °°
