Sounds like a pretty funky idea, and i like the idea of defending the pole which kinda makes me half not want to post my own idea...but my suggestion would be to have fort flags (yeah, this has already been suggested in like a bajillion other posts, so it's a cliche; i'm just fusing it in with this create wall spell idea ). Kingdom members with the correct rights could accept these flags, and around the flags, the spells could be cast...

I dont know how you can mix the pole-defending idea in with this, maybe a pole or flag appears that you have to defend once the fort-flag has been accepted.
