I reported the bug at support.graalonline.com but i'm sure someone did it quicker. By the way, I know this is a very slim chance but I sold my forest shield for alot of plat (well at the time which was about an hour before this happened) and then I found out how he made all of the money. And he tells everyon the recipe so now i'm without my shield and for now a petty amount of money. Is there any chance I could get it back? =(

Did you ever think that maybe he thought that he had made some big discovery?
Maybe, something to make him rich? Something noone else knew about? Why the HELL do you make alchemist a class if you are going to reset people who find good recipes? This is unjust, and is really starting to piss me off.

it is not unjust, in fact I checked the recepies list, the recepie shouldn't have even existed, it was a bug in the mudlib checksum that allowed you to create this recepie even though it wasn't with the right materials

It was a bug that allowed you to make mithril chain, full helms, cloaks of all sorts, but those are still around, although the recipe is not, which doesn't make sense. Should either be allow them to exist and have more made or take them out. Not take out the ability to make them and leave everything that was made.

And the players who used the recipe were supposed to automaticaly have this knowledge stored in their brains, right?
Who DOESN'T have the entire recipe list?

Just reset ALL money and valueble items, and just have all the valueable items as event items. Problem solved.

Reset the server, stop giving out overpowered Items, and instead make more quests in order to get said items.

A reset would do no good. The same thing would happen all over again. I don't see how it couldn't. Someone always finds a bug, a corrupt admin will always make some strong weapons noone else can get, event items will be the most powerful, even though there are no events.

Bugs get fixed, a corrupt admin will be fired, the items will be deleted.

Why is EVERYTHING getting resetted? I mean, how do you get more exp from making so much plat? Maybe buying cheap scrolls and reading them like I've seen people do, but that doesnt give you much...so we all worked hard for all these exp points and its going down the drain? So all that time spent trying to kill lords with prayer spells WASTED? Damn thats...Whoever made the recipe for it shall die lol

I vote reset. I've also worked hard waterlord. But a balanced server is alot more fun than an unbalanced one no? Yes, there would be sacrafices. But I mean, think about how much better it would be? I think the ONLY ones who should not favor a reset are DragonX and MarkB but from what I see they're somewhat in favor to it. You spent NONE of your time coming across RoS/RoW you FOUND them when you walked into stores.

Perhaps I am overestimating the intelligence of the average player. I thought it would be SAFE to assume that people would think it ISN'T right to be able to make the amount of money it took people who DIDN'T abuse the bug the best of a few months, when the people who DID abuse it made the amount in less than 24 hours.
