Yes I am fully aware that there are idiots who would ***** about it being buggy, but that is not uncommon in an alpha release. There would be plenty of mature people with enough decency to tell those idiots "STFU you idiot, it's only alpha release of course there will be bugs. Would you rather have bugs or nothing while they spend another 9000 years trying to make it perfect."

Well...a bug I do not mind, however, a bug that can be exploited I would rather not see.

I just wish there were more mature people with enough decency to say "Oh well, they're delaying it by a few days but it's not gonna kill me to wait that long. If it isn't finished then it isn't finished. It can't be helped now."

Oh yes I should be like the 99% of everyone around me who thinks of eveything like it's a joke. If something is on my mind, I shouldn't let it out, I should keep it bottled in like all the kiss-ass staff does. Maybe I should laugh when someone messes with something they have no business messing with because they think it's funny and therefore everyone should.

Thanks for Stating the Obvious...
We are mad at Stefan/unixmad Telling us Knowingly that the Game is Still buggy that the Release will be on the 13th.. However they have also told us that it would be released on what I've heard of, numerous Amounts of times.

The first time they delayed it , it didn't bother me. But now that they've done it several times, what is there to keep me from believing they will only delay it again, and then again after that, and then again after that? I'm seeing a pattern of one release date passing and them giving us another one, I wouldn't be surprised if this went on indefinantly.

It's not about the game, it is about the staff giving us delay after delay, it's about time they let us see something. Emotionally attached? No, not that far, but it irritates me to see constant delays on anything I am waiting for, no matter how small.

People who put "End of discussion" on the end of their posts annoy me profusely. He said he'd have it finished by that date because HE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE. What, you think he can see the future?

Do you have any idea just how much work Stefan actually does? Do you see the mountain of scripts he writes every day or the hunk of new features he is constantly implementing? And now he gets delayed by a few days and you think he's doing it to spite you? Games get delayed. It happens all across the world because that's the nature of game development. Live with it.

End of discussion! hahaha now I must be cool

It's not about the game, it's about the delays in the game! I'm not emotionally attached but I get angered by it!

Can you possibly make ONE sentence without contradicting yourself?

Well maybe people who put "Live with it" At the end of their Posts annoy me (Btw, I'm not trying to annoy anyone, Just stating the Obvious).

Anyway, I Understand how much Work he does and I respect him for doing so But I'm saying is that he Shouldn't Announce Release Dates UNLESS he's sure that it's ready for alpha Release. Besides, how hard is it to test the game BEFORE you announce it's release??

I don't think you understand what release dates are. Release dates are not "Hey, we've finished the game, but we won't release it until three weeks in the future". Release dates are "Hey, the game isn't finished but we think it'll be done and ready for release in three weeks". Stefan thought it'd be done by May 13th, but he misjudged it. He's only human, after all.

People who give me constant delays on something I am waiting for annoy me profusely.

The fact that he thought it would be finished on that date means absolute zero. When a release date comes, they should give us what the game is on that date, not delay it so they can give us what they thought it would be on that date. Games get delayed I have no problem with that, but no honest, reputable game developer would ever even think about this many delays, they would either:

A: release the game , then release a patch to fix it up.

B: scrap the game

No, release dates are "we've finished all the important stuff, now we're testing it to get the bugs out and to find what we should address in any patches, it will be released on this date."

How come everyone points out Stefans mistakes and when he has something late?
I didn't see any threads about "Congrats Stefan New Bodies Released"
The new bodies and new hp system were supposed to be out 6th of May I think but it was out before, why didn't anyone say about him releasing that early?

I think people go about looking for things to moan about.
SO what if its been delayed a few days.
I'm sure it wont kill you.

Alright the begining portion of this Reply made no sense..
Let me prove my point by Stating some Examples.

First off think about Major Corporations like Sony for Instance.
I don't think they would Just Release a game because they "think" It's done, No they run Test after test on the game Making sure it's Ready to Be Released.

Second off..
Let me Define Release for you:
The act of issuing something for publication, use, or distribution.
Where do you see anything about Guessing it's ready to be released..?
But see if Stefan Keeps making these "Guesses" of his, He may.. No he will lose a lot of Frequent Users, Thus Decreasing not only Funds from Upgraded accounts, But Popularity of the game as well.

Whereas you are attacking Graal for doing the exact same thing!

What are you talking about?

Release: The act of issuing something for publication, use, or distribution.
Release Date: PREDICTED TIME WHEN THE GAME WILL BE READY TO BE RELEASED.

PREDICTED. Meaning there is NO crystal ball involved. They have to make ESTIMATES for when it will be finished and inevitably these will sometimes be wrong. This is a SIMPLE and FUNDAMENTAL concept in the games industry, or in ANY industry. What the heck is your problem with it?

I've lived for almost 16 years without graal 2k2 I'm sure waiting a little longer won't harm me.
No one goes and complains to sony or other large companies when they delay their games.
Why is that?

It seems every time I post my opinion I am harassed because I disagree w/ everyone else:

I say guilds should be made by groups instead of individuals going around yelling "sup0rts mah gilld it si n33ds teh suports", and I am called an idiot.

I say it should be illegal to send random PMs to ppl asking about hats, and people act like recieving tons of PMs like this shouldn't bother me.

I say people who say I shouldn't take things so seriously should shut up and they say I am "emotionally attached" to Graal
(which is farther from true than the Earth is from the edge of the universe).

No, Stefan TOLD us it WILL be released on the 13th. If he still wasn't Sure about it and was ONLY Predicting that it was going to be released, Then he WOULD HAVE SAID THE GAME IS ESPECTED TO BE RELEASED ON THE 13TH!!!! Sorry for yelling

No one goes and complains to sony or other large companies when they delay their games.
Why is that?
Why, I do believe that it's because brats like Mman couldn't get the attention they crave from Sony or other large companies.

When it wasn't finished? You extolled the benefits of not releasing buggy code, yet you're saying this is what Graal should do.

HOW THE HELL DO YOU THINK HE ARRIVED AT THAT DATE? THERE ARE NO CRYSTAL BALLS IN THIS PROCESS. IF IT WAS ALREADY FINISHED THEN HE'D HAVE RELEASED IT THEN, BUT HE GAVE US A DATE IN THE ASSUMPTION THAT PEOPLE WOULD HAVE THE BRAINS TO REALISE THAT IT WAS ONLY A PREDICTION.

SORRY FOR YELLING

Have you waited 16 yrs to see 2k2? No you didn't, and one would have to be a ***** to wait that long for anything.
