there arent enough people to man every single territory in graal to make sure someone from another kingdom doesnt come.
I mean i could log on in the middle of the night and capture every territory, or i could go on at peak hours and just start taking terrotories cus there are too many to guard,
or the gaurds are doing other things...
It would have to be made that when you captured a territory you raise your flag up onto it, but it wasnt officially yours unless you held it for a certain amount of time, and i dont mean go there, capture it, and log off so no ones suspects anything.
You should have to stay there for a certain amount of time for it to work. Also there would still be the problem of the person who comes on in the middle of the night and captures stuff.
Maybe this could be solved or helped to be prevented by making kingdoms able to use their money to buy NPC gaurds for their territories, altho this would also be a problem because in a real battle with everyone on, not only would you have the soldiers, but you would have th scripted NPC gaurds who just come at you and attack you, which would make it very hard for the attackers to accomplish anything unless they could deploy their own NPC soldiers, in which case it would become a big Fish Fight (i.e. the cool fish fighting stuff on graal classic) which would be interesting, but would take away the fun for the people to actually fight. This would be actaually be a good idea for a seperate server tho. I will explain that later lol, but anyway maybe it could be made that if a player is wearing a kingdom tag,
and logs of graal, then an NPC with his appearence and name and heart amount etc would be created there. And if someone of an enemy guild entered the level, then the NPC of the person would go to attack it. And if an allyed guild came and took over the thing, it would automatically become an enemy guild and then your NPC dude would attack the person.
Also maybe it could be depending on the players spar rating or something the NPC might get a minor speed boost,
or have some kind of strategy programmed into it so it wasnt an NPC that just ran at you swinging. This seems to be the best solution because it solves or eliminated the problem of kingdoms attacking your kingdom's territories while everyone is logged off.
And if you are logged on your NPC "unspawns" so that everyone doesnt have an NPC battle clone thing. |
