More jobs with a complete disconnect to the server's purpose is a terrible idea.
Everyone's been suggesting/begging for fishing for forever, but why? What's the point? It'll be pizza-making or mining with a different button mini-game. Digging already = sea shells. Digging up "rare roots" barely would pass on a fantasy RPG server, much less on Era. Boat building? Gross. Go play Kingdoms and see how fun that is. The casino is fine as-is, define what a "useful" casino is? One where you can expect to win on a regular basis? No. It's supposed to be a high-risk, low reward fun
diversion. Not a central element to core gameplay.
Integrating core-gameplay
into the job system would be a better idea. Certain locations that could be periodically raided by gangs (instant cliche idea would be a financial institution such as a bank) for decent cash payouts (automatically split among the raiders) would be fun. It might also add some more purpose to gang raids by allowing them to fight over specific areas on the map for more reason than simply "the sake of raiding".
Finding a way to allow the gangsters to quit their hardcore day-jobs as pizza cooks, lumberjacks, ditch diggers, and aspiring botanists would be the best way to spend staff time on changing the job market rather than adding in more useless ways to remove players further from the server's core gameplay.

They don't let just anyone manipulate time and space via the event warper. Such power even in the hands of a fool could be devastating.
