It SHOULD work everywhere(except events of course :P), but the timer should be reduced to 0 after death respawn... or else people will just use the hospital to run then.

Well, yeah. If you run to the hospital, you can still get pked...you're only safe when warping there after dying.

It doesn't seem to be working as intended. The "!" icon in the bottom right disappears after 10 seconds - even with movement - on PK zones. It's really easy to just dance around for 10 seconds then hop inside.

I mean, that's what you described it's function as, but it doesn't really stop running.

I think you have to be still for 5 seconds though to let it count down.

Yeah but if you run for 10 seconds while staying outside, it still goes away.

I can just run away for 10 seconds in a diagional and then hop inside and I'm all fine. No waiting 5 seconds while standing still or anything.

The movement timer is still being worked on I assume, which is why you can still run around and the timer will go down. Or they can make it so the more you move, it adds to your timer until you let all of it cool down.

We can maybe increase the time of the 10-seconds-since-hitting-someone rule, but either way, there's no real way to completely eliminate running.

You should make it so their speed goes down Less of a running problem.

How about moving in diagonals doesn't double your speed, as it usually does, if you've been shot in the past 5 seconds?

see when you respawn @ the hospital you still get the five seconds thing, right now there are people getting you once you respawn at the hospital not fair!

I thought it would only occur when you enter a predesignated no-pk zone(AKA you shoot someone and enter a house which is no-pk, you'd have to wait 10 seconds before the no-pk actually effects you), and that the overworld was still open-pk. However, from what I can tell it means if you wait long enough you can not be bothered by anyone?

Perhaps you should have the time you wait proportional to how much you kill. That way people who are always PKing will take longer to get no-pk(thus making it harder for them to wait, gain no-pk, then go get cheap first hits), while newbies and people who aren't interested will gain the benefit faster. Or just go with my initial idea in the first paragraph.

No it doesn't, because then people will just abuse that. The timer just has to be reset on death, so you're not respawning in pk-mode.
