Dungeon Seige? That just put the 'Pack Muel' into my head

Yea, as Drakeero stated, there is no one big idea that can save the server, but in my eyes, many quality idea's can make the server more attractive to new players, and give old players a reason to stay.

I kind of agree with Fenix in that newbs have a tough time, but remember, we were all newbs once, and quite alot of us actually made it through without too much fuss. Even so, we can't turn a blind eye towards it, i suggest a more in depth guide for newbs and alot weaker monsters. I was thinking they could tackle rats and bats in sewers (bats with more exp plz) before tackling the surface dwellers . Taken from Tibia, a great game which offers a very good newbie introduction island, check it out, i think it would show you what we really need to help these newbs. Btw, instead of a portal to take them to the mainland, how about a ship? that takes 10minutes to arrive.

Well, that's more an expansion of the item/housing system than of the pet system. What I'm talking about is adding features to pets who would target people who are into pet-based games.

I noticed that horses used to help with the weight slow-down when there were so many people that speed rings were hard to come by. I also heard rumors long ago about the cart hanging around Bomboria being used with horses to carry even more.

The pet system improvement is a good idea, but why not start with something simple. Add the carts, and make pets easier to care for. Then come back to it later after other improvements are made elsewhere?

This is a very good idea. Maybe make horses expandable in the item/housing system... Then add new pets along with the current ones and expand them in different ways. maybe battling pets, or pets could actually help you battle, but you can only have 1 pet on your person at a time. So you can't get an army of them. You could also make items to improve pets, armor for them, ect.

Hmm. What would be cool and would give an actual incentive to level your "pet monster" would be if it could attack not only other pets, but monsters and B moders as well. Not sure if that was the direction you were going in Googi, but I think that'd be pretty friggen cool.

Because he would end up being just like the type of admin we don't need: someone who shoots down every single idea.

Right, why do we really need someone to upload things and help with technical problems and fix things on the main server. You're right, we definitely don't need any admins. That's a stupid idea.

I guess the quantity of admins is defined by the quality

I don't know, I say Tig and Googi should be given a chance. Googi is usually right and Tig likes to push for development.

thats what i just said. there should be a limit on how many you can use to battle with you though. Like you can only carry 1-3 pets at a time. but there shouldn't be a limit on how many you can have stored.
