I really don't see the bricks any differently with how you edited them, but as for the bottom side of the railing/posts, those were not made simply because then I would feel obliged to make stairs and then a wall...and another floor below it to show height.... XD and more.

I was trying something out to see if I could put it in perspective before I added the front railing. Didn't work out too well

I really love that style, it's the kind of style i try to make myself, and what i one time want to make a server with.

Oh my god, that grass burns my eyes. And is that a pathway or a fallen log? I usually like your stuff, but this isn't good.

I don't really like it either. Tiles act as a background, they shouldn't have that much contrast. That just steals the focus of the real ongoing action.

XD It's kay.

I really hate the contrasty look as well anymore, and I relized this when I made it.
I do like the grass though >>;... and it's really easy to tone down. The dirt is really ugly, I agree.

I should stick to the simple gfx I like ><....

Ya, with backgrounds you want to keep the contrast focused on only emphasizing the depth of the objects rather than the shapes:

It keeps things interesting without jeopardizing the background vs foreground conflict.

wish I had the patience to sit and customize all my graal persons stuff ~.~

I wish I had the people to help me make an rpg server
Chompy D:!!!

BUT! I've sunk to a low, having no new mmo's to test for a few months, I'm downloading WoW to give it another try. I've never played it more than a few hours before uninstalling it tho.
