true, but you would have about the same amount of accuracy with a pistol, and around 11 more chances to hit them

Nah, a pistol is more accurate. It's just slower.

I wasn't comparing the two at that point, I was merely suggesting that it was possible to kill a person or at least completely disable them with a thrown knife. I've never said that knives are superior, that'd just be crazy, but they do have some benefits and these make me like them. I'm not waging any sort of competition here.
