Yes it is, its a way to avoid a fight. To avoid responsiblility. And you act like it works, when it doesn't...if it wasn't for the people who fight, it would be impossible for pacifism to exist. To say otherwise is pure idiocy. Although, cowards aren't really what gets me mad, its cowardism and no thanks, instead just critisism. I never said everyone has to be a pacifist, you idiot. Less than 10% of the entire world population are Pacifists.

Pacifists don't avoid responsibility. Pacifists are normal human beings who choose not to engage in violence. That's not avoiding any sort of violence. I assure you, Pacifism works just fine for me. There can never be all pacifists in the world, because that would not work. I have just finished watching the memorial service for all those poor people who were just going to work. All the brave policemen and firemen who were doing their duty and lost their lives. I have just finished reading these posts and it has me sickened that so many people are so insensitive to others pain.
The reason why so many countries are involved in watching this is because terrorism is a global problem , not just a US problem. And also there were people killed from Britain (100 missing) and Canada (500 missing) and many more. The WTC is an international building.
I am a proud Canadian, who has many American relatives and friends. It is crazy to start the old Amer/Can arguements again. Canada has a sterling reputation as peace keepers all over the world. USA has the firepower and military strength known all over the world. But not one is better than the other. I send my condolences to everyone who has lost a loved one. I hope that globally, our combined countries can put the last of terrorism to rest. The terrorists are the cowards. Lets not fight amongst ourselves .

Hear Hear I second that one! It will take cooperation from ALL the World community to do away with terrorism.There is nothing wrong with being against violence for there are many things a Pacifist can do besides fight if it is against his conscience to do so,but that is by no means makes him or her a coward.There are plenty of things to do behind the scenes which are just as important to do as fighting on the front lines.How do you think men and equipment get to where they should be? Someone has to do the paperwork and such or it never will. Does this mean their job means less than those on the front line?I think NOT.They are doing their part to get it done ,but this does not mean they are cowards,not everyone can kill another human being and live with themselves afterward. How many PPL came out of Vietnam messed up in the head because they did ,many did I know I was very much alive and a Adult in that era.Does this make them a hero or a coward? Neither for it is up to each one of us where we stand on killing of another human being.This is a personal choice and not our right to judge another if they do or don't, for they are the ones that will have to live with it.

Im glad you brought this up. It sickens me to see how many insensitive people are out there and are getting angry about football games getting cancelled due to this. I think they are very cold hearted and have no concern for others.

There was no reason to cancel those games. I don't personally watch them, but nonetheless, no reason. What has cancelling those games done except lower expected revenues for the association holding the event (I am almost sure that they are refunding...)? Nothing. You can't get away from hearing about this. Must the media shove this in your faces for the next few weeks? I should hope not. Some people want to go back to a normal routine, but can't because of the people still dwelling over this. Over. Done. Move on. OMG I'M SO HEARTLESS, no.
