I am still waiting for cable, dsl or something better than what I have now. Right now I live too far in the country for anything better than 28.8k or less. Crappy SBC....in other words, I am a couple miles from all civilization.
SS of what I have now.

Check your modem in controlpanel, some actually have defaults of 28/33Kb but you can make sure they connect at 56K.

Not mine, when it says 26k it means it. That is what I download at, it takes on average about 10 seconds for a IM to go through.

Sweden has excellent broadband so I dont have to worry about moving to some ghetto area out in the middle of nowhere surrounded by hicks without cable

I'd like CD's .

I can't keep my computer on for 12 hours, my dad comes in during the night and if anything is on (after around 3:00 or so) he starts throwing a fit and breaking my stuff.

I use AOL and I get unlimited access for $15 dollars a month. Theirs three computers in my house all connected to diff internet accesses so we got like 5 dollars off aol by having Compuserve as well. My parents have Juno on their computer.

And for you who said you've been waiting two years. That's nothing.

I was promised by Adelphia that I would have cable "in 6 months" when we first moved into my house. It's been 6 years. They have finally installed it in, however they won't let us have it yet because "the signal is weak". : /

Arrow Attn: unixmad & Stefan

Comments regarding 1st time playing Graal3D.

- I couldn’t figure out how to change weapons. Selecting them from my invintory didn't do it.

- All the bomie's walked backwards :P

- No less than 1 second lag from the time I clicked "fireweapon" until it actually did fire it.

- Changing window focus a lot causes it to crash.

I don't necessarily like the idea of Graal3D being a first-person-shooter, but if that is what Cyberjoueur wants then I suggest they get a hold of Ultima 9: Ascension to see how to combine critical elements of the FPS and the RPG. Plus they will see how detailed the U9 world is. *That* is what I expect from Graal3D.

Oh yeah, AND Graal3D despratly needs a new name. "Graal3D" is a find name for the project, but since it's ready for an official release it needs a better name. Something alone the lines of, "Graal: Revenge of the Immortials". The name needs to reflect the overall story plot of the game.

You all may call this a beta, but I'd call it a pre-Alpha. Graal3d, in it's current state, seems like an experiment, quality wise. I expect a near-finished product when I hear the word beta.

Regardless, Graal3D *is* an interesting twist to the Graal library, hopefully it will be drastically improved before it's released as a public beta.

Unixmad: I am willing to help out (free of charge) with the world design and/or management of Graal3D. I have been waiting many years for Graal to reach the point where it can finally expand into the realm of 3D. This time has come. I know many people in the city I live in who I can convince to help me build an extremely detailed world for you. A team of people working closely together will design a far better world than a team of builders who's only contact is the net. Please use the email address in my signature if you are interested.
